He's 17 for his last 32. The captain's not washed up. He can't hit for power but comes up with big hits and multiple hit games. I don't like what he did about his 3000th hit (not giving the young guy some cash) but the guy is clutch, people bash him year after year, and he still plays hard everyday. He's worth the contract if he plays like this.
