Depending on the rules and depending on the software, house edge is around 1% when you play online bj. So most people will win some sessions if they play perfect strategy.

In the long run you will lose if you don't get a bonus. With bonuses you could make fortunes in the past.

The screenie of the cards doesn't look right, particularly of Bodog's cards at the top - the two 5 cards look different to each other, and the proportions on the Q look different to the other similar cards on his hand.

Yes, I agree. If someone would of photo-shopped it, they probably would of made the 17 a 21.

But the actual process of photo-shopping could literally be done in under 5 minutes for something like this.

This error shows that the program interprets the cards. If the program only read the cards, there could never be a disconnect between the cards and their value; the two would be the same; there would be no space, or room for interpretation, between them. You will never see this with the simple card games that come with the Microsoft program installed on computers. And BJ is just as simple. The picture says : this program is rigged, but normally you don't see it.

Aces equal 7 at bodog? I know when I play blackjack live at a table the dealer sometimes pays when I lose on "accident", seems to happen more frequently when I am tipping better. I think the advantages of human error in live play far outweigh the computer turning 21 into 17 for the house, especially without a pit boss to debate the hand with online. This is yet another great example of why you should never play online casino games.

The fact that Bodog hasn't disputed the allegations yet makes me think that all should stay far away from the Bodog Casino. To think I was trying to see if their poker was legit. No thank you now.....

Very suspicious that Bodog has a rep who ignores all criticism of Bodog, like the dual lines and the one sided prop lines and the rigged casino issues, but if you ask "How can I deposit with Bodog?" you get a response within hours. Two weeks without a statement from Bodog since "senior management became aware of the issue."

I've had similar problems before at different poker sites and casinos, and what has generally been the case is that the software screwed up the graphics. In my case, the actual hand dealt from the RNG was supposed to be 17, but rather than display a K and a 7, the graphics were in error and displayed an A and a K. Of course the book needs to refund you in this instance because you weren't able to appropriately act on your hand.

I had something like that happen with Paradise Poker many years ago, where I was dealt pocket JJ, played the hand aggressively, and lost to something like a pair of 9s, and it turned out my actual hand was J6 even though it was displayed on the screen as JJ. Similar things have happened at casinos too. In all instances, the site refunded me promptly, but what is strange here is that Bodog has not responded after two weeks when they normally have a rep posting frequently to all the forums.

I'm about to quit poker there. I'm up around 3k but lately the beats have been getting out of control.

Last weekend I counted six straight heads up games in which idiots went over the top of me with crap cards and sucked out.

Before people start saying bad beats happen ect., I would like to know what the odds of a two hitter suckig out on the river three games in a row is. That's not the end of it though.

The final straw was when I flopped a full house and lost.

I had 9, 10. Flop comes 10, 10, 9. I check and other guy blasts. I call. Te turn is a king if diamonds. Guy goes all in. He has ace jack if diamonds. So basically he goes all in with a flush draw and I have a boat.

River card????? QUEEN of DiAMoNds!!!!!! He goes all in on turn and hits his his one outtwr in river to beat me!!!!

I tried some live dealer at 5dimes. It was back and forth fow a few sessions, won a few c-notes and quit (wagering 25 to 100 per hand)
At least you see the cards; its slow as hell but maybe thats not a bad thing.
And it seemed whatever table I joined, if it was empty, same names would keep jumping in

I wonder if counting is possible after they shuffle, or do they cut cards that we dont see after 6 deck shuffle?
Because it doesnt really look like 6 decks (the cards are huge size)

I've been playing bodog for years now.The other day Bodog's software went haywire. I lost multiple hands because of a display issue where my cards that were showing up on screen were different than the computer was reading them as so the hands I thought I was winning, actually were draining my account.It took me a while to realize this glitch was happening all the while my balance was taking a hit.I finally get a blackjack and it says lost that I was like whoa wait a minute.I stopped and took a picture of the screen.I contacted bodog and They blew me off and assured me their software was topnotch.So I contacted the kahnawke gaming commission, which licenses Morris Mohawk gaming group, which runs Bodog. Problem is the Ceo of Morris Mohawk is a tribal member so you see where this is going.The commission did their investigation and said this had happened once before and it would help if I downloaded the software instead of playing in my browser.Bodog gave me a five dollar credit which I told them multiple times did not cover their error.The amount in question from that session was so small I find it crazy they just wouldn't cover their software error.I called an attorney because I know this isn't the first time I've had an error on bodogs software.After paying another 150 in consultation fees I was told I would have a very strong case but since they operate under tribal law they can do pretty much whatever they want.I have constantly played with bodog for years now.I've had some good experiences or else I would have left a long time ago.After the way they handled this incident the integrity of the entire site is in question.If they can't reimburse a player a small amount for their error will they payout when someone hits a jackpot?Or what happens if your betting on a highstakes game or hand and their is a glitch? Something to think about.

I also look at the image pixel by pixel, and if it was changed I could not see it. I can usually find the change in retouched images.Doesn't mean is wasn't possible, but my program didn't find it.

Here is an official statement from Bodog casino re: the software glitch:

There was a malfunction in the Flash software client of Blackjack that affected a very isolated number of game hands. This malfunction caused a display issue that showed a card from the previous hand instead of the actual hand result generated. Bodog has already investigated and corrected the malfunction in the software. Moreover, Bodog has spoken with the affected players and the matter has been remedied to their satisfaction.
