ESPN Fukked me today
I had 4 tickets to the Cards/Rockies game at 1:15 today (Cardinals Club seats behind home plate) so I was taking the family. My kids were looking very forward to the game and the weather was unbelievably awesome. Needless to say we got out of church, decked out in Cardinals gear, to find out they moved the game to tonight. Of course tomorrow has to he the first day of school so we could not go. Fukking sucked!!!!!!!
12 hours later and I am still pissed!

That sucks man...nothing like espn making the kids go to school tired or miss the first day altogether...
Wow you guys start school early there. My brother doesn't start until September 6th here in Michigan. Maybe you can call and try to get some type of refund? Worth a try.

refund? Because hes a girl and wont let his kids live a little? I think your kids could have managed to go to bed at 1030. Or hell go for the first 5 innings. A night game in beautiful weather and you make them go home? I would have killed my dad.

Yeah the logical thing would have been to go for 5 innings or so.
The rainout had absolutely nothing to do with it, the switch between Cardinals game and Yankees game for Sunday Night Baseball was announced two weeks ago.
Which makes it hard to believe that the OP didn't know about the time change already.
I would have still gone to the game. Stay at the game about a half hour past the kids bedtime, at the most, and have them sleep in the car on the way home. One to two hours of lost sleep aren't going to kill a kid. If anything, it will be a badge of honor for them because they got to stay up late on a school night.
It was known this game was Sunday night for more then a week now so try keeping in touch with reality for a change instead of setting a bad example for your children.
