Saints Fan is correct...this is my 3rd straight week...I am at Caesar's this week but stayed at the Hilton the first 2 weeks as I am a Diamond member as well - free breakfast, internet and gym.
The Hilton is older and not as crowded but the sportsbook is the best with odds and maximums and amount of TV's to see ALL games.
Caesar's is ok but the TV's need to be upgraded.
Lagrasse (Venetian/Palazzo) is ok but do not have all the offerings in sportsbook - 5 inning games, first half in preseason, etc.

    Funny, nobody has said Aria.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't put them in my top 5 either. But their beds are sssooooooo compfy. 5 hrs of sleep feels like 10.

    Mandalay Bay
    Red Rock
    Green Valley Ranch
MGM (as mentioned before, small rooms but I just like the MGM)

    Bellagio, Caesars, Wynn.

Pass on the Venetian rooms, though the casino is nice.

Off strip places I am learning are very underrated and bang for your buck much better
Easy to get to strip to get your dose of it

    Treasury Island Seems nice also

    Most places are good

Commercial shops too crowded though and not relaxing

I have a very important question about the Hilton Sportsbook.....

Okay so when you place a wager at this sportsbook does anyone know if that bet slip entitles you to unlimited free drinks from the cocktail waitresses?

The reason I ask is b/c some sportsbooks like the Mirage will only allow you 1 drink per bet slip... and as i'm sure a lot of you know if you go buy a beer at the bars near the sportsbook it will cost you around $7-10

I have been to the Las Vegas Hilton sportsbook before but I can't remember their policy on this. Most recently I was at the Wynn sportsbook and I had pretty good amount of money on games going on and the cocktail waitress never stopped by me... maybe b/c i look young.. i'm 27 but people say I look 16 sometimes.. or maybe it was b/c I didn't look like a high roller

wow it will no longer be called the Hilton?? that is a damn shame. I have a Hilton gold card which gets me room upgrades, free buffett breakfast, and access to the spa steam rooms and work out facility.

I absolutely love the Hooters hotel and Casino. I know the sportsbook is tiny... but they have Ice cold $2.50 16 oz Bud Lite bottles by the pool the pool is cold and refreshing on a hot day. and you can easily be chiillin poolside and run inside real quick to the check the scores of the games you have money on. Also I really like the $3 roulette and $3 black jack.

Last time I was the Hooters I won $1000 on roulette b/c I went in really really heavy on #21 and and put a big stack on red. Everyone was giving me a high fives and taking pictures. I put like 25 chips on #21 b/c that's my GF's lucky number.

Anyone familar with the Hard Rock Sportsbook and Casino? Is it cool? last time I went there it was like 3 am on a Tuesday and nobody was there and I didn't see the whole casino or the sportsbook

Yes, if you tip the lady after each drink they will come up asking if you want another.

The Bellagio also has free drinks in the sportsbook. Sit down and it is highly probable a lady will be by asking if you want a drink.

In 2 weeks I only saw the girl ask some guys to show her a ticket once...I think she didn't think they were betting (or tipping her). I was never asked once to show a ticket.

Hilton doesn't give tickets. I just bet 3,600 on Philly to win 2,000 at caesar's and they only gave me 2 drink coupons. I asked for more and he asked the supervisor and gave me 2 more....what a joke...you can't even get a premium drink with that worthless coupon..
I will get $6 back on comps versus $16 if I bet it at Hilton.

Just booked by reservation at the Four Seasons in Vegas... Cream of the crop...... I either stay at The Hotel @ Mandalay Bay or The Four Seasons, I prefer The Four Seasons over them all.

Im A cheap f...kk so i stay always at The SouthPoint.4 nights for 156 bucks the cost of one night at a fancy joint.Southpoint is very basic just a room and a bathroom but that is all i need because im never in the room anyway.Love the M as well never stayed there. You need a car though because the SP is very far from the strip.Getting a little bored with the SouthPoint next time i thinking of staying at The Fiesta Henderson or maybe i will be really cheap and stay at The Hacienda in Boulder City.

seriously all the mega places are the same, and not nearly as good as they used to be.

used to be you spent 2-4 hundred a night on a room you got some perks, but now everyone pays that so the service has deteriorated across the board. Guys go and have $500 a night rooms, and then have to wait inline for a taxi. You really need to be blowing a lot of money to get treated even close to the way an average person used to be treated just 8-10 years ago.

So trying to define which place is best could more aptly be phrased, which place has lowered it customer service standards the least?
