i just saw something i haven't seen in awhile

I took my little cousin to see Cars 2 3D (pretty cool movie btw), and I saw something that I haven't seen in quite awhile...

    A kid wearing a cast!

Seriously, how often do you see casts anymore? I had numerous broken bones when I was a kid, but now everything kills us and gives us cancer, and parents are too scared to let their kids go out and *gasp* be kids.

Thats a very good point. All the social media and technology has kids barreled in these days. Parents gotta pick up the slack and get em outside.

Kids play on grass or padded floors now. I take my kids to the play area and it has rubber synthetic field like an NFL football field but softer. When I was a kid it was either rocks, dirt or gravel. And every play area is padded. Then when the kids start playing football in HS they break down easily because they grew up being taught being soft is OK.
