uh no i won and it was a free league and it was a league we used as a mock to try out a site instead of mocking on the site. I doubt your fine niners, go ahead and draft your frank gore. Gore will be the thorn in sf side this year, not alex smith.

I'll be in up to 20 leagues, sure ill struggle in a couple, it happens, get a life slapnut

    Damn. 20.

I will be in one fantasy football league, one pro pick'em, and a KOTH (King of the Hill). All money leagues. That is enough for me. 20, Damn.

tt (or anyone who's got constructive advice for that matter), how would rate this 10-team mock draft? I went in with the idea of selecting 2 RB and 2 WR with first 4 picks. Can you spot weaknesses?

    Round 1 - Pick 10: Darren McFadden
    Round 2 - Pick 1: Calvin Johnson
    Round 3 - Pick 10: LeGarrette Blount
    Round 4 - Pick 1: DeSean Jackson
    Round 5 - Pick 10: Brandon Lloyd
    Round 6 - Pick 1: Ryan Matthews
    Round 7 - Pick 10: Matt Schaub
    Round 8 - Pick 1: Daniel Thomas
    Round 9 - Pick 10: Matt Ryan
    Round 10 - Pick 1: Julio Jones
    Round 11 - Pick 10: Mike Thomas
    Round 12 - Pick 1: Kellen Winslow
    Round 13 - Pick 10: Rashad Jennings
    Round 14 - Pick 1: NY Giants D/ST
    Round 15 - Pick 10: Rob Bironas

i like it, got jones, thomas, schaub, ryan in the perfect spot.

Just not a fan of d jackson but you got him in round 4 where ive seen him go in late 2 early 3 in some, so good value there.

Also like where you got lloyd and mathews and d thomas. Worth the pick whether he does good or not. Good bye week replacements.

I rate 8 of 10, will contend for possible championship.

Just did my first mock draft on the fly. Picked the 12th spot. Didn't want to pick WR.WR., but it seem I had to. I feel OK with it, but it is a pain to draft from 12th, that is why I did it as my first mock. Well here it is.

    1. Andre Johnson (Hou - WR)
    2. Roddy White (Atl - WR)
    3. Tony Romo (Dal - QB)
    4. Ahmad Bradshaw (NYG - RB)
    5. Dallas Clark (Ind - TE)
    6. Ryan Mathews (SD - RB)
    7. Fred Jackson (Buf - RB)
    8. Mike Thomas (Jac - WR)
    9. Michael Bush (Oak - RB)
    10. Roy Williams (Chi - WR)
    11. Ryan Torain (Was - RB)
    12. Hines Ward (Pit - WR)
    13. Danny Woodhead (NE - RB)
    14. Dallas (Dal - DEF)
    15. Dan Carpenter (Mia - K)

I'm not big on Romo either, but I don't feel there was. Vick, Rogers, Brees, Brady, Manning, Rivers and Schaub were all picked already.

Good thing it is a Mock Draft.

Help me out boys. Got a 12 team league. PPR, 2QBs, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 flex.

You cannot win this league without solid qbs. I am tempted to go QB, QB what you think?

A big NO on QB.QB. In a PPR league you want to try and get RB's that get high receptions. I would never draft a QB.QB, unless maybe for a 2 QB league, you can get a decent backup in the later rounds. Depends where you draft from, but if a stud RB is sitting there for the taking, you have to draft him.

Start mocking, and see how you do from each draft spot.

onlooker your 1st 2 wr saved you. I know its hard to take a rb early at pick 11 or 12. Try wr rb in your next mock and pass on a qb early and check your team out

It was hard to pass up the top 2 WR's, because 9 RB's and 2 QB's went before I got my first pick. Had to play the value card on picks 1and 2.

I'm going to to try to get in a couple mocks at each spot, and try different things. Be prepared for whatever spot I'm suck with on draft night.

It seems like it often comes down to a decision between this cluster of RBs when I get to the 6th through 8th rounds, and I'm still having a hard time deciding between them.

    Marshawn Lynch
    Fred Jackson
    Daniel Thomas
    Felix Jones
    Jahvid Best
    Mark Ingram
    Ryan Grant
    Beanie Wells
    Mikel LeShoure

How does everyone feel about this group of tailbacks? I like Jackson and Thomas, but hard to ignore the reports out of GB that Grant has all but locked in the RB1 spot... Also, many ESPN fantasy experts seem to be fairly high on Best's role in a stronger DET offense.

i like most of what you said. only thing i disagree with is that you need to get running backs early. that is a myth and people are scared to draft backs that aren't every down players right now even if they will be good later. quantity over quality is my logic with rbs

last year in my 12 team, very competitive league i took
    Charles in the 3rd
    Bradshaw 5th
    Felix Jones 6th
    Darren McFadden 8th i think
Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch late

I drafted one Rb with my first 4 picks and I had the best rbs in the league and plenty to choose from week to week based on matchups

went in with the RB RB idea but the top 6 rb's went before me at pick #7 and on the backend it was roddy white or reaching for Hillis or MJD. could of took forte over wayne.

    3. Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR)
    4. Steven Jackson (StL - RB)
    5. LeGarrette Blount (TB - RB)
    6. Dallas Clark (Ind - TE)
    7. DeAngelo Williams (Car - RB)
    8. Eli Manning (NYG - QB)
    9. Steve Smith (Car - WR)
    10. Josh Freeman (TB - QB)
    11. Rashad Jennings (Jac - RB)
    12. Michael Crabtree (SF - WR)

just dont see how u got s jackson in round 4 in any good league, he will go round 2 in about all mine

LIke the team for 10 team league

10 and 12 team strategy can be different. All teams in a ten team league are generally good, but not the 12 teamer.

also dont compare any season to last season. There won't be any j charles in round 4 this year or an arian foster

this was a yahoo public mock draft. im palying against a bunch of tools from work as well so the drafting will probably be similiar.

    Auction Draft.

I think most here are doing Snake Drafts.

But your right about driving up the prices on the studs, to get the other guys to pay high prices for them. I never did a Auction Draft, maybe I will mock one of those to, just for fun.

I generally like going RB, RB, WR, QB, WR ..., but really depends on how each draft goes. Sometimes there's an early run on one of the positions and force me to change strategy or because of the run there's someone sitting there that's too good to pass up. It seems like every draft I've done there's at least a couple guys that I'm surprised are still sitting there. It's also a good idea to check out the free agents after a draft, seems like there is always a guy everyone overlooked. In one of my money leagues last year I picked up Austin Collie from the undrafted pool and dropped one of the JAG's I picked up in the late rounds. Turned out to be a good pickup when he got promoted to #3 WR when Gonzales got injured before the season started.

    3. Mikel Leshoure
The Lions picked up a quality running back in Mikel Leshoure in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He should be a nice fit with the shifty Jahvid Best. While Best will make the big plays, Leshoure can be the workhorse and carry the load. He may not get too many carries as a rookie, but many scouts had him rated as the second best running back in this class and he does not lack the talent to be a superb back in the NFL. Leshoure just needs a little time to get into the groove before he will be ready to take over a majority of the Lions carries. Whether that happens in a couple of years or a couple of weeks is the big question for prospective fantasy owners. Even if Leshoure is slow to come around, he should be the goal line option for the Lions sooner rather than later.
    I'd stop drafting this guy.....

given the Steelers propensity to run the ball, I'd say snagging him in the 2nd (if he's still available) is a good grab. He is definately in upper tier of RB's for the season.

Im more curious to see how people feel Arian Foster will fair given his trail breaker in Vonta Leach has now departed the team.

Yeah but I'm in a keeper league 10 team drafting out of the 8 hole. Only 2 people are drafting the first round due to keepers and I'm fairly confident I can get mendenhall with my early 2nd round pick.
