    I don't see them with more than 8 wins. The OL can't protect Stafford.

    5-1 sounds too much. maybe 2.5 to 1.....

    Plus non-pro be waiting forever for points......

    Is Fairley gonna be ready to go to start the season? A walking boot is what I heard.

    @Tampa - Win
    K.C. -Win
    @minnesota- Loss
    @Dallas - Loss
    Chicago- Win
    San Fran - Win
    Atlanta- Loss
    @Denver - Win- Blowout and long long day for Tim Tebow
    Carolina - Loss- Cam Newton goes wild on them
    Green Bay - Win b/c it's Thanks Giving Day
    @New Orleans - Loss
    Minnesota- Loss
    @Oakland - Loss
    San Diego- Loss
    @Green Bay- Win.

    Okay I would say anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 depending on if they stay healthy and play up to full ability and maybe have a little luck.

    I really think Minnesota will be extremely good this season. I am expecting a monster season from McNabb, Peterson, Harvin, etc...

    and I'm not even a Vikings fan.

    Vikings won't be a threat IMO. Stack the box and stop AP which many teams figured out cuz there is no deep threat. McNabb isn't the answer

    Was thinking 9-7, 8-8. Should have a good team if healthy.

    @ Tampa is a tossup. It all depends on how Josh Freeman looks compared to Matt Stafford.
    Kansas City is a loss. Lions still weak in the secondary and can't guard Dwayne Bowe or Jamaal Charles.
    @ Minnesota is a win. Minnesota could very well be worse than last year.
    @ Dallas is a loss. Dallas should be able to put it together this season.
    Chicago on MNF is a win. The Bears will take a step back this year, led primarily by Jay Cutler.
    San Francisco is a win. What an ugly mess that team is.
    Atlanta is a loss. Not enough of a secondary to stop the pass.
    @ Denver is a win. Kyle Orton has no deep ball accuracy.
    Carolina will be a reply of last year's beat-down of the Rams. The Panthers might win the #1 overall pick again next year.
    Green Bay is a loss. Thanksgiving or no, the defending Super Bowl champs will win if Rodgers stays healthy.
    @ New Orleans is a loss. Once again, not enough secondary to handle a big time passing team.
    Minnesota is a win. At this point in the season I wouldn't be surprised if McNabb got benched.
    @ Oakland is a win. Oakland is a running team and the Lions front 7 will be ready.
    San Diego is a tossup depending on how close they are to overtaking the Chiefs for the division.
    @ Green Bay is a loss. The losing streak on the road vs the Pack reaches 20.

    So I've got them at about 7-9 to 9-7.

    agharah, the last game against the Pack could easily be a win if GB has the division all wrapped up and decide to rest there starters?

    Probably 7-9 or 8-8. No belief in the secondary, and I'm not quite sold on Stafford is even that good. I live in Michigan and I always have to hear how great Stafford is, but I just haven't seen much proof.

    Thas cuz he cant stay healthy, when he is on the field, he has a killer arm. Having Titus Young this year also will increase his %

    I've watched him play ever game, and as you can probably say we've seen flashes of greatness but then some what were you thinking moments. He looked good last year, but that was only for 3 games so really the QB play over the long term is still a question mark. It's not like UofM where I hate them, I'm a big Lions fan.

    i agree with Lions beating Packers last game of the season b/c Packers will be resting starters most likely.

    I say the Lions sweep the Packers in 2011. And good chance they could split with Bears and Vikings. I don't know how good the Lions secondary will be though.

    Detroit should be right around .500... I don't think they make the playoffs but they will be a tough team to beat in divisional games and could steal games against Green Bay and Chicago.

    I think we'd be happy with 8-8 this year. Next year, pick up a top Corner and move in the right direction.

    Mikel LeShoure is a stud. You guys got a steal with him in the second round.

    LeShoure is a workhorse. They will split carries but there will be games where Leshoure takes the bulk of the load and gets stronger as the game goes on

    you have a pretty tough schedule. if they were so much better the line would be 8.5 not 7.5. lets say you split all the div games and are 3-3 then you lose in dallas/new orleans and win one of two in oakland and denver. that leaves you at 4-6. then you have the chargers/panthers/falcons/bucs/chiefs and niners/ i cant see how you win 4 of those remaining games.

    I got them finishing 7-8 wins. A winning season and I'd be surprised. They're definitely heading in the right direction. Just missing a few pieces on defense like Pacman mentioned, a Corner.
