I know there are people on this site betting on Toronto today. What are your reasons for backing Brad Mills?

According to espn.com's Inside Edge Brad Mills has thrown 47% of his pitches in the strike zone against both right and left handed batters. He only has three pitches he uses 99% of the time: a fastball, a curve, and a change-up. Batters are hitting an unbelievable .474 against his curve, .276 against his fastball, and .220 against his change-up but he only uses his change-up 25% of the time. He's got a career WHIP of 1.77 and a career ERA of 7.80.

Texas has some key injuries but the team has to be licking their chops here. Mills has a 3.99 ERA at triple A this season. Even with the injuries the Rangers have to have one of the better offenses in the majors although they're in a slump right now they have to look at this as their chance to break out of it.

It looks to me like Mills has one big league level pitch which is his change up but since he only throws his pitches in the strike zone less than half the time on average, it hardly matters that he's got a big league level pitch.

Rangers team total over looks good here imho.
