My guess is that this fat lazy bastard will finally decide to start trying again this season just to spite Washington.

he needs too..all the risk is really in his corner, NE only giving up a 5th round pick makes him pretty expendable. if he messes up or doesn't perform to value they'll just let him go. he's scheduled (barring restructuring) to be getting a bit over $5 mil this year, a bit over $7 mil next year, and that's all NE will have him for unless he proves he's worthy of another contract. come 2013 he's due to make $29 mil based off his old contract that washington gave him which we all know will never ever ever come to fruition so this is basically a two year contract run for albert. at age 31 turning 32 he should be able to get another relatively decent deal for 2-4 years if he's bent on making more money and only way to do that is to perform

He'll pass it in a few days, he was expecting to be in Washington so he is in Redskins shape, not Patriots

maybe you should watch the games in the playoffs pal. the pats lost as -360 faves to the jets last year. the same team they blew out in the REG season at home. your home team has lost consecutive playoff games at home the last two years and in both games werent even competetive. time to let egochick go.
Do you not realize they were in a rebuilding year last year? Just because they overachieved in the regular season doesn't mean they should've automatically made it to the Super Bowl and anything less is a failure.... I sure as hell wasn't expecting a 14-2 season, especially after Bodden and Warren went down in the preseason.

Should be a fun year, Pats supposedly playing a base 4-2-5 defense with the 3-4 as their sub package. We'll see if BB can work his magic

haters gonna hate man, it's not worth it. it's like the year brady went down. i didn't expect them to win 11 games and yet they were the first team in over 20 years to miss the playoffs with an 11-5 record, yet we have 8-8/9-7 jokes from the AFC/NFC West and last year's joke Seattle team getting in at 7-9..granted they won against a terrible Saints choke...

but the point is..they never should have been there, just like the Pats weren't supposed to be in the playoffs last year. From all the media hype and hullabaloo the Jets were absolutely supposed to be 'primed' to take the division and the Pats were definitely second fiddle.

i just think people are haters of the fact that the Pats can consistently get to the playoffs even when the odds are against them, whether they are overachieving or not, they usually find a way to get there. the yankees certainly don't win every year, but they find a way to get to the playoffs every year too. (some people will say they buy all their championships and should be there, but any other owners could pony over their own dough and do the same)

the fact that the pats do it with the same cap as everyone else pisses other people off because they know they should have a level playing field and be able to be in the same position, but no one besides the colts (much weaker division till recently) and maybe the steelers and philly, have been able to have the same regularity of making it to the playoffs year in and out over the past decade
