    they do it so all teams are in camp equal of time so nobody gets more camp than others.

    Because not every team plays their first game on the same date. They want to make sure that every team has the exact same days to practice before the first preseason game to minimize player injuries.

    I believe its vets are required to show up to camp at least 15 days prior to their first ps game... I think anyway
