    First of all, there's either value, or there isn't. The amount you risk should be based on your bankroll and the edge you are getting. See kelly criterion.

    i think the brewers have at least a 60% chance of winning the division which would equate to -150.
    so yes lay the -125 but only up to your comfort level.

    also i don't think there's an online book that would take a division future wager for MORE than 5k (you wrote 5k+)

    Baseball prospectus has their odds at 67.6% to win the division. -125 would have great value if you respect those #'s and I do respect Baseball prospectus.
