Antonio Esfandiari is a commentator donkey

All in and call preflop in the WSOP live main event. 1010 vs. A5 suited. Flop comes 444. How many outs does the A5 have? The "expert" commentator Esfandiari say there are 3 outs and he has to catch an ace.

This guy plays for 100's of thousands? Deal me in
I like the guy but that's pretty bad...

He needed an ace, a 5 does nothing for him, nor does a straight, edit: unless straight flush
    Am I missing something?

A fourth "4" would also give the A/5 the hand.

He's been watching and commentating for days and nights, he's barely paying attention.

Running fives would give him a bigger fullhouse.

No they only show the hands in action after the flop. The percentages after the flop were 81/17%, well above the 12% if he only had 3 outs. The missing 2% was for the tie with running picture cards. Lon McKearen said the A5 had a backdoor flush draw but it would be no good because a full house is better, not thinking of the straight flush.

Yeah I've noticed his commentating is much lower quality when its live. The 30 min delay is not enough time to clean up his fuk ups

Norman Chad is getting treated like an ass this year. He makes too many dumb jokes and has some serious man crushes but he's a lot smarter than Lon.

Ben Lamb has been playing amazing. Dude, unless he just bombs before the Nov. 9, will have to be the favorite.

Btw, pretty sure Johnny Chan was drunk off his ass last night when he stepped in the both for 30mins.
