    San Diego is too small of a market.

    You got Anaheim and Los Angeles to the north, and Mexico to the south. And half the people here aren't even originally from here.

    At least the Padres have been to a world series in the last 15 years. When is the last time the Cubs, Dodgers, Reds, or Pirates been to a world series? Those are 4 franchises with a lot of history no?

    Maybe when the Chargers move to L.A the Padres will be able to start spending money
