I don't know about the rest of Canada, but the equivalent to Proline where I live has the worst odds I've ever seen. It's like -140 for sides. Don't think things have changed in the recent years.

You can buy more than one ticket. Each store probably has different "limits", not sure.

You can only play parlays so the odds are against you.

The only way to get any edge is to play correlated parlays that have off lines.


There's a few pro line experts here but I stopped playing it many many years ago after playing online.

Football lines are so off it isn't even funny. You can have guys at counters waiting on your instructions minutes before kickoff as you can hammer them on two teamers. Also the problem is they take lines off the board when they know its a loss. They have gotten better at countering winners. So many losers play this it isn't even funny. Square central.

Two team parlay in football is probably your best option unless you want to get lucky.

If they had teasers/ml parlays.......I'd be playing all the time.

How much do lines have to be off for a two teamer to be +EV?? It still gotta be a bad bet unless you group them.

I use to play Pro-line, but it's garbage. The odds are terrible unless a line moves a few points, then you are at least getting fair odds.

I just stick to the pool's. hit a couple a year but I spend about $100 a week on it . baseball and hockey pool's are good, 2-3k payout's are common. football get's to almost a mill if it's a real dog week.

Horrible yo play with,they let u play now 3 team parlay on minimum on baseball, it used to be 2 team parlay. It sucks to have this type of odds and should not worth a look.

in Ontario it's 3 team minimum ,except at casino niagara it allows 2 teamers, not sure about the other casinos

the odds are brutal and if a line changes they quickly take it off the board unlike years ago when sharps pounded their bad lines

i enjoy the stagnant lines from time to time.... I've had a few tickets I've had to take to the lottery commission to cash.... and if lines move "against" them, they DO NOT always remove the game... it takes big news or HUGE swings for them to remove a game...

Come NFL season I enjoy laying $100 on 3-teamers....

here's a perfect example of how they rip you off.. if you play 3 pick ems in a 3 team parlay, offshore, for 100$, you get close to 700$.. with lottery, you get 350$. look at the difference..... if the avg joe plays 1 ticket a day, over 1 yr, he will cost himself 20k/yr in profit.

now if you play three +300 dogs, with lottery, 100$ gets you 720$.. offshore, 100$ gets you 2700$.. if he plays 1 ticket a day, in 1 yr, he will cost himself 25k/yr in profit..this is what the avg joe is doing. just look at the type of profit the gov't is making here..
