I opened an account 6 months ago with another (sponsored) book w/o going through SBR. If I can renew by having $200 in that account I will, otherwise I'm not signing up at a new book or going back to my original one just to "Become Pro"!

Let's face it. The sbr pro system is a rip off. It gives us 12 a day instead of 6 but with the constant point devaluation we end up even. Since they manipulate the currency value we really didn't get anything.

You should be able to "be a pro" with any of the above listed sportsbooks that SBR is involved with. Trying to deposit in a "new" book that you have no confidence in and it's difficult to deposit in to begin with makes this process confusing.

Why can't I just deposit in a book that's listed whether my account is new or old, used or unused? Frustrating

This post would have made at least a sliver of sense if I was already an employee of SBR. Unfortunately for the validity of your intelligence, that's not the case. My post had no intentions of retaining the pro membership of the posters I quoted. My intentions were to get a point across about certain members being woefully ignorant of the rules. The site has had a bunch more benefits for Americans than foreigners since the points system started. SBR obviously don't want to discriminate against Americans as policy.

This week the foreigners get the larger ice cream. FFS, just suck it up and enjoy the nice tasting smaller one you got stuck with this time. The swings and roundabouts will generally even things up well enough in the end.

I did this week already, not so much to be a pro, but I had to deposit funds to play with, and since I only use one book it was no problem since its the same book I signed up to be a pro at last year.
