No I will not renew. I'm taking a sabbatical from sports betting for the 2011-12 season and will be on the sidelines as a spectator. I was very disappointed as a US Pro to get only 8 months of full membership benefits instead of the 12 month full benefits the rest of the World posters get.

I'll be renewing with the account I made last year. Still have a few weeks before I'm required to deposit so no rush as of now.

I'm not going back to my original book I signed up with either.

I opened an account 6 months ago with another (sponsored) book w/o going through SBR. If I can renew by having $200 in that account I will, otherwise I'm not signing up at a new book or going back to my original one just to "Become Pro"!

And the poll is retarded too because non-pros can vote.

Let's face it. The sbr pro system is a rip off. It gives us 12 a day instead of 6 but with the constant point devaluation we end up even. Since they manipulate the currency value we really didn't get anything.

You should be able to "be a pro" with any of the above listed sportsbooks that SBR is involved with. Trying to deposit in a "new" book that you have no confidence in and it's difficult to deposit in to begin with makes this process confusing.

Why can't I just deposit in a book that's listed whether my account is new or old, used or unused? Frustrating

Assuming I can qualify under the "grandfather" clause, yes. If not, then most likely no.

SBR needs to hire you as a customer service represantitive. You will be able to retain Pro memberships at a 100% rate with posts like this. There is a reason US Pros are fed up with the system. Post like yours is the reason why.

This post would have made at least a sliver of sense if I was already an employee of SBR. Unfortunately for the validity of your intelligence, that's not the case. My post had no intentions of retaining the pro membership of the posters I quoted. My intentions were to get a point across about certain members being woefully ignorant of the rules. And you speak of "the system" -- please, enlighten me, which part of the system am I a part of? Ah, wait. I'm not employed by SBR and I'm not a part of any system. Yawn.

no, unless changes are made, then i will renew. Its the principal not the benefits, we are getting devalued points and I dont agree with it, I also dont agree with the rate of time it is taking to finish to whole ordeal

Pavy, you have been carrying on like a child who thinks their sibling got a larger ice cream since this was announced.

The site has had a bunch more benefits for Americans than foreigners since the points system started. SBR obviously don't want to discriminate against Americans as policy.

This week the foreigners get the larger ice cream. FFS, just suck it up and enjoy the nice tasting smaller one you got stuck with this time. The swings and roundabouts will generally even things up well enough in the end.

The foreigners can kiss my ass. Americans is what built this site. I will not send my money to a 3rd World Country that discriminates agains Americans. I would go local and support my local American bookie who needs to feed his family.

LOL at the people that blame SBR for this. YOU elected the government into power that is telling you what you can and cannot do with your own money. YOU DID IT. Typical Americans - blaming somebody else for your own actions.

I did this week already, not so much to be a pro, but I had to deposit funds to play with, and since I only use one book it was no problem since its the same book I signed up to be a pro at last year.

Please go to Covers, deposit 200 USD into the next BetED and get nothing for it ... and a man that likes to have his ass kissed by other men is usually gay
