I think there are lots of good guys and a good gal who is busy modding. Everyone has their runs in tennis where it goes way hot and way cold. Generally, you can find these people if you actually visit the tennis forum and look at the people who plod on every day with picks - whether they have good analysis to go with it or not.

Don't really think I am sharp at all. I am a good researcher. Translating that to success in bets, 50-50.

there are only a few opinions that i deem worth considering on this section. i have been out of the game for long time now but of the very few who are/were active i would go with shari/eagle

shari knows her shit with dogs and hit them at a nice clip. they were what kept her in the green

ep is in for the long haul and is definitely not someone you tail for a play or two. grinder all the way and he is legit.

i might try to be more active this upcoming season but we will see. tennis is unlike any other sport for capping and i would even go so far as to say it is the hardest of all major sports.

Respectfully dis-agree with you sir. If you know what you are doing then I believe tennis is one of the most reliable and consistent sports to 'cap, however the key is you must stay up to date and heavily involved as opposed to say NBA, where you can often pick winners from the "outside".

    lol at reliable and consistent.

i also dont understand how a sport that takes so much time can be easier than one where you can spot bet with absolute ease.

Alot of other really sharp gamblers occassionally post in tennis forum. Some people don't bet alot of tennis volume, but when they post it is super high % picks usually.

I JUST caught sight of this thread. If anyone knows me, they know I could absolutely care less bec I do this for my own organizational reasons, but NO one on this entire forum gives me much credit. Only a few bros like Gator, Beef, Demon, Kobe, maybe one more I can't remember......give me props. Thanks ya'll

But when I read thru this thread, I had to smile I do like almost ALL of the tennis cappers on this site. I have become friends with many of them. I think they all offer a unique insight to the matches and to the players within those matches.

I think EP is an excellent researcher on tennis. He knows his crap like I do & David does for sure, he has just been trying to find his niche I think for awhile & I have always supported him. David def knows his crap about tennis & I think his approach is solid. He usually takes about 3-5 plays per day, maybe, and wagers 1 unit on each (maybe to win 1 unit on each). Very disciplined, and the picks are solid usually (without question). This new guy Sando seems to know his tennis very well. I just looked thru his thread for the first time & I think his plays are very solid. I would just be VERY weary of betting Challangers alot (VERY unpredictable bec of motivation & players throwing matches - no joke) and also with WTA. Betting the women consistenly, will almost guarantee that you go broke on a regular basis. I have seen it for way too long. Good cappers lose their shirts on WTA. I personally stay far far away from womens tennis and Challangers. I think smart cappers go ATP or nothing. Again, just my opinion.
Beef is another good capper who knows his tennis. Not alot of plays from Beef, but when he posts I think he knows what he is doing and makes some really good plays for sure.
I honestly feel that the "cappers" on here that take a LOT of underdogs & WTA are destined to go broke. I know alot of dogs have hit this year, especially end of the year (like always), but betting them solely thru the year will be a disaster. You have to have a good mix on favs and dogs and props. THAT is what makes tennis tough to cap on a regular basis.

I think the tennis is a great sport to keep you busy betting throughout the year when football is done. But to ME, it has to be done with discipline. If you wager smart, don't go overboard and your unit sizes are within YOUR limits, then tennis is a WONDERFUL sport to wager on and have action on all year long. Without question

I personally don't call myself a tennis "capper". I don't claim jack crap. I just love to post my plays on here when I bet tennis & I like to help people out if I can. For whatever reason, I get very little love on here, LOL. If it bothered me, I would of been gone a long time ago. But I have fun posting & talking with the few that respond in my thread. I kind of feel bad, bec I have gone on some sick runs of 8-0 or 12-2 (all thru the year) or whatever, and not one person responds to anything usually I still have a blast posting on here & looking thru the other sports threads to get ideas on plays.

I just had to comment when I saw this thread this morning & not one person even mentions the ONLY guy on this entire tennis forum who has POSTED a 100% legit record of OVER 400 tennis plays!! I have been doing this consistently for 9 months here. I have definitely laid off at the end of the year bec I KNOW how the end of year tennis rolls. Also with football here & with the money I am making following a few cappers, the payouts keep coming & there is no reason to bet tennis to me until the beg of the year starts and everyone starts getting super motivated for the Australian. End of year tennis is blah blah blah, except for the Masters. It always has been, it always will be. Oh, did I mention that after 400 posted plays on this site, I was still in the black ??? That was what I found to be funny. I have said it 1,000 times on here before, I don't mind if 1 person follows me, zero, or 50. I just found it odd that someone poses this question and not one person mentions the only dude with a posted record of 415 plays or so (all posted before the first match started on each ticket) and is actually in the black.

I think a lot of people don't like my style. I do tend to take a lot of favorites. I have excelled in my parlays and that is what has kept me winner after 9 months of posting. I try to find good angles on mostly favorites and group them together the way I think they should. To me, it doesn't matter if you take ONE play at -125 or if you put two favs together and the payout is -125. Same payout, both the same in my eyes. But for some reason, a lot of people say I play too many favs and kind of tune me out. But for me, it works out great. I gamble a LOT on tennis usually & if I can NOT be loser and actually a small winner for the ENTIRE year, then that to me is not damn bad
My straight record took a hit a few times bec I took some heavy heavy chalks straight up and they lost! In hindsight, prob bad plays. But at the time, I really liked them to just win & I took some big loses on just a few matches. But I still managed to stay positive with the money & to me, that was impressive.

I think that utilizing all of the cappers on here is the best way to go. EP said it right on earlier, we ALL go thru our hot and cold streaks here. If you risk too much on the tennis daily or try to go for a big winner payout, then tennis will bury you. With discipline, money management, smart advice, tennis can be an awesome sport to wager on and to watch. I personally teach tennis (13 years) and play at a very high level still, and I feel that there is NO better sport in the world to be a part of. I wish this tennis section was a LOT bigger here and had more contributors.

My hats off to ALL of the guys who post on this tennis thread daily and try to help out anyone who happens to pop on by. They all share the love like I do. Thanks to everyone and as always, I wish everyone the best of luck in all of their plays!

Just so ya know, my record is as follows:

    Record from 11/1:

    Parlays (0-0) 0.0 units
    Straights (3-1)
    +1.42 units

    Total = (3-1)
    +1.42 units

    Overall Record as of 11/1:

    Parlays (155-123)
    +15.08 units
    Straights (74-63-9)
    -12.33 units

    Total = (229-186-9)
    +2.75 units
    Total Win % = 55.7%

Oops, didn't mean to copy my last day of wagering, but I always update everyday that I wager and also put the overall record right after. Like I said, the parlays is where I excel I think, with almost 300 posted parlays on here & 32 more winning wagers for a profit of $1,508. If I didn't take a hit on two of those big chalk straights, my straight record would be WAY better than what it is for overall profit! Hence the winning record for straight plays, but negative in the profit category, UGH!!

I know this thread said "sharpest" tennis guy, and I am not "sharp" per se, but again, I just found it personally humorous that no one even mentions the only guy who has legitimately posted a record of over 400 tennis plays (David is the only one who has a running record near mine & he is around 225 posted plays or so recorded, great profits too!). I only post here to organize my plays and to help others if they needed some help. I hope everyone wins money in sports gambling, and if I hit a hot streak and no one tails me, oh well. It's not like I lose money, I just keep on winning it

Sorry this was so long! I was bored this morning between lessons & I felt like patting myself on the back just a little bit. I NEVER do that & most people say I need to more often. I just love this sport more than any other sport in the world & I wish everyone could feel the passion and satisfaction that I get out of the amazing sport we call tennis........

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. Tennis weather in Houston, time to hit the courts

because you're the dope who pops into every thread with WTA picks and lectures people who choose to bet WTA.

here's a great example of this in the thread linked below: dude posts a thread backing at least +550 dog (was over +600 at some books), you waltz in blathering the same old bullshit about how you can't make any money betting the women's game, and the pick hits.

WHO are you bro??? I NEVER toot my own horn! AHOLE! And I know a TON of cappers who would pat themselves on the back on a daily basis if they posted 500 plays and were NOT in the red. I have NEVER seen you post a tennis play OR a record. If you did and posted 400, you would be in a homeless shelter fool. And I post a HELL of a lot more than ONCE a week moron. I posted plays everyday for the better part of the 9 months I have been here. It has only been RECENTLY that I have taken a break bec the end of year tennis is a joke, and anyone who has been betting tennis for a long time......knows this.

I post plays and help people out for free. I have a WINNING record after 415 plays and I am comic relief??? Good stuff man. You are an idiot. LOL!!

There are only a FEW people on this entire site who POST a continuous running record. Other than that, its people just starting a thread on one play.

And you should follow this "answer" on a regular basis. Good luck

You are DAMN right bro! I always tell people that betting the WTA is retarded! WHY??? Bec it is. The women are the most unpredictable thing to gamble on in SPORTS period! Tennis or not. You are pulling ONE freaking big dog winner that won, and I am happy whoever the hell hit it, and not the other 150 that I posted "DON"T BET THE WOMEN" on. I have told a ton of people that the women are SUCKER bets!!! You CANNOT show me ONE freaking person on this entire site that has a WINNING record by betting only WTA. Not one fool. SO?????

I try to help people by talking common sense to them about the WTA. I feel that if people get hung up on the WTA they are gonna be losing a TON of money. Show me ONE capper on here that bets WTA and is winning money. Guess what??? You won't. WHY??? Bec the WTA is a joke. And anyone who bets tennis on a regular basis, KNOWS THIS.

And I don't pop into every WTA thread moron. I have gone into prob 15 or so and I bet that was one of the ONLY ones that hit when I was trying to warn people that the WTA is a bottomless pit if you gamble it. But if YOU want to bet on women who hold serve 49% of the time on average, I welcome you to it sir, LOL!!!

AGAIN, I have never seen you have the balls to post a play, let alone freaking over 400. So when you get some nuts brotha & man up, talk to me again. I try to help people, start a thread, post your plays & you will have my respect. Until then, you don't help one person with anything I have ever seen in tennis. At least I do fool, on a regular basis.

And its not bullshyte. The WTA is a joke & ask anyone who has bet it reguraly............they will NOT be in the black. I am positive on this. Have a nice day fool

which is why almost every WTA dog is a live dog. you just don't seem to understand logic...your reasoning as to the WTA works against you, but I imagine you're probably one of those folks who loves heavy tennis chalk, right?

LOL. you think you're some sort of mother teresa, helping people? you're a penetrating grinder with no discernible insight whatsoever and think you're some sort of seer. Up 2 units after 400 plays? Great work guy. Perhaps you should be tailing some folk who post WTA plays.

and look at your posts in this thread-just looking for a reach-around.

I don't and will never post my plays-I don't have the time, nor do I care, nor do I need the pat-on-the-back or ego boost from someone tailing me which you seem to be begging for above. I enjoy the banter here and enjoy peeking in and seeing what's happening, usually some good insight in the tennis forum.
    good luck with your picks.

    good luck with your picks.

The point is, since you don't seem to be able to GRASP it, is that for a "regular tennis guy" posting over 400 plays and NOT being in the red is not a bad accomplishment. It's not about being up 10 grand or whatever, its the FACT that I can gamble on tennis ALLLLLL freaking year long & I am NOT in the red. I am willing to bet, besides maybe 2 or 3 other people in here, that NO one can say that. I am positive!!!
I display excellent money management & I am willing to bet donuts to dollars that I know AS MUCH or MORE about the sport of tennis and the players than anyone at SBR. No questions asked.
And if you looked at my thread early on, I did some MASSIVE write ups on plays. I used to do them all the time moron!! I stopped bec no one really posts in the tennis forum consistently, except for US who post the plays and keep running threads. There was really no need anymore. I still do small ones from time to time if I have time myself.

And I am DEFINITELY not begging for anyone for an ego boost!!! HAHAHA!!! If I was needing that, like I said many times, I would of left SBR a long long time ago fool
I just know other cappers, in other sports, win ONE play and they pat themselves bigtime on the back. I have congratulated myself maybe FOUR or FIVE times in NINE months ahole! And everytime I did, I was very deserving of it. Four or five times in nine months and over 400 plays???? You are hilarious dawg. You talk like you know me or how I run my shyte. Dude, you know nothing and I have never seen you contribute ONE piece of useful information anywhere on anyones tennis thread.

I have a STRONG feeling you tail someone here and lost your arsss! HAHAHA. Too bad, you prob tailed Tevari Like I said, there are a few good consistent cappers here, people can figure that out for themselves. And I look at the views fool. I know how many views I get week to week. Just kind of odd that I get thousands of views, I KNOW that some people tail and win money, but only a few post. It's all good to me. I win money. Others might tail and win money. That's why I do this. Never even heard of ya pal.
And there is NO need to wish me luck on my plays sir! Definitely not your luck, jajajaja.....

PS. Why on earth would you tell me to tail some people on WTA picks??? Mama drop you on the head as a baby man??? You AVOIDED what I said to you earlier bec you CAN"T argue it buddy. NO ONE on this entire site is winner at the WTA. NO ONE! Not one person keeps a running record of their WTA wagers. Do you KNOW why??? Bec they would be in the RED horribly!! Wake up man. You ignored a major part of my post to you & its obvious you either lost a BIG play tailing someone (prob NO money management) or you are jealous that there is NO way on earth you could post 400 plays before they started and NOT be in the red. I gamble on tennis for fun. I don't make a ton of money, but guess what??? I don't lose either I am willing to bet, that 75% of people that gamble tennis for long long stretches, are NOT winner. I am proud of not being negative after 8 months or so

Why on EARTH would anyone tail Tevari on a regular basis??? Do you have ANY clue how much he loses on tennis plays????? ANY??? He takes huge dogs and I have personally seen him go thru streaks of 10 to 12 losers or more in a row. And that was more than once. If you tail Tevari, you must deposit quite a bit. Good luck on that, mind blowing!!!

I wasn't going to get into this pissin-g match but you are really starting to annoy me and I think others on these forums. Tevari has had plenty of good plays. I would rather tail someone taking a risk on a live dog than someone who constantly uses -1000 favorites in parlays (like you). With that said; I am more than capable of making my own plays and I don't usually tail anyone unless I am 50-50% on a match.

I never had a problem with you before but to call out Tevari like that who has never been a dic-k on these forums that I have ever seen is ridiculous. You are just proving everyone else's points that you are just crying for attention.

and who wouldn't want a capper who plays tennis every day? That's got to be some sort of edge. To break even in tennis is no easy task considering how many heavy favorites there are and how often they might hit your bankroll hard... or the dogs that hardly ever cash.

D-Money - I respectfully dis-agree with you sir that you cannot make money on the WTA. I do know you have to chose your spots carefully, and yes In-ability to hold serve and constant breaks have to be considered, however I believe there is often great value to be found in the WTA. Want some examples...

    A. Serena when she hasn't played for awhile and is coming into a major (except French)
    B. Wozza (ATS) when she is "in the zone" and crushing opponents. Especially now that she is hovering around the top 10 again and appears to have found her touch once more.
    C. Fading Stosur as a heavy favourite against strong returners and especially great movers who keep the ball in play (Errani) where Sam will still no doubt start as favourite and fading Sam in finals, poor girl chokes a lot, yet backing Sam on clay (as a dog) is usually money.
    D. Fading Ivanovic against power hitters and when she loses the first set as a heavy favorite.
    E. Fading Jankovic every single time she is the favorite these days (over-rated)
    F. Backing Na against anyone (especially as a dog) after you have seen her play the 1st round or two of a tourney and can see that she is switched on.
    G. Following the young up and coming talent closely (Watson, Stevens, Jovanoski, etc) where you will often find great value on their matches (especially against big name players) either ATS or m/l.

These are just generic examples ofF the top of my head. Obviously each situation has to be looked at independently, but the key to betting WTA in my opinion is understanding how the women's tennis game works (obviously so different to the men).
