    Bigger guys usually fair better because the smaller built guys burn out.. Even Hamilton burned out in the final that Morneau won 5 to 3 in the final round..

    Eh, if i was going to be on the HR derby it wouldn't be on the huge favorite. It would either be on prince fielder, who is 4.5/1 who has won it in the past, and is built to win this type of event. Or a huge dog like Weeks who is the most under-rated guy in the contest. Who can hit them further then Prince can when he lays into them.

    I agree Bautista wins this. Not a doubt in my mind. I would be shocked if he doesn't win. I picked last years home run derby winner too. David Ortiz baby! Don't listen to clowns that want to hate on here, especially Michael Waters.

    Okay big Mike , I want you to log back on this forum after the Derby so I can say I told you so.

    Do your self a favor and put your money on Bautista. This man was made for the home run derby. He swings for the fence every time in the game this will be no different in home run derby. My only fear is he will hit about 35 dingers in the 1st round and tire him self out.


    He needs to put about 15 on the board and rest up. 15 should be enough to advance.
