Can any team beat the Atlanta Braves?

Same old regular season champ Braves. McCann was on the decline before his injury, and Gattis hasplayed extremely well. Heyward and Uggla are always in slumps. They'll fizzle out. They always do.

I like the Giants but I doubt it. Giants pitching is not the same anymore. Giants haven't faced any good teams so far. Dodgers are still a fluke.

Braves have surprised me.... I live in the DC area so all I hear is about how GREAT the nats are.... i get sick of hearing it... I do believe they are a solid club, but they to me are overrated.... Alot of my Nats fans get all pissed at me for saying that (Orioles fan here) so I guess it is what it is....

Braves look good as shit. Probably the team to beat in the NL but my only question is whether the strikeouts will haunt them come October. Teams that strike out like that do not often win in the playoffs.

Of all the teams I'm a fan of, the Cardinals are the most clutch and tend to step their game up in pressure situations. On the other side, Atlanta tends to piss down their leg.

It doesn't matter how well you do in the regular season in baseball. It's all about the playoffs.

For example, if Atlanta wins like 110 games and plays a Cardinals team that wins like 90 in the first round, Atlanta will have a ton of pressure and the Cardinals will be going into the series expecting to win while Atlanta will be trying not to lose. Just watch.

I live in the ATL area and all I hear about is how amazing the Braves are this year. Forgetting the fact that I hear that EVERY DAMN YEAR, the Braves will do what they have done every year since the mid-90's...choke.

This is baseball. You can have an amazing year and then crap the bed 4 games in the playoffs and you're out. Also, since it is baseball, there are still 150 games left. That's plenty of time for injuries, slumps, and all kinds of other crazy s--t.

I live in the dc area myself. I have never seen such unrealistic fans. If they will 2 in a row they believe they are either going to the Super Bowl or Stanly cup...

This is true. MLB playoffs are starting to look crap shoot NHL type playoffs recently with all the dogs that win. And the St. Louis Cardinals went all the way in 2006 and 2011 when both their regular season teams had like 84 wins or something.
