I used to go to TJ all the time... It was the place to go when you were young in So Cal.... I got arrested in TJ with 3k worth of Pills in 92 and I have never been the same... I stay away from TJ these days.

i'd say maybe only about half of us would make it back...you get thrown into the drunk tank down there, your fukked at best...the odds of making it back without a haunt or two are pretty slim...great times, YES...worse times, i dont want to find out...i'd feel like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs down there...

TJ should not be feared. Lots of people still go and have fun. I just had the worst experience of my life in TJ but I was also up to no good. You have a better chance of something happening to you in the Tenderloin than TJ. It's still safe and a happening spot.

Went to TJ in 99' and over did my welcome. Ended up staying Eight days. 6.5 in a prison. In my defense, I was trying to get back to the US that last 1/2 day. Fukkers caught me a mile from the border. Won't be going back
