Is taking A.Gonzalez to win the AL MVP pretty much betting he won't get hurt???

I see -150 at one book, sure there is better odds out there...

If he doesn't get hurt, who is gonna catch him???

Hamilton is always a threat, but I would say you are correct. Only injury can catch A Gon right now.

sure seems like it, the only player in the AL who has been better this year is Bautista, but he plays for Toronto who wont make the playoffs, and as we know, the MVP is also a team award in MLB.

That's why I think Josh Hamilton can still get hot and make some noise. Bautista is deserving, but has no shot

true, but i think he's missed too many games this year, he'll only wind up playing about 120 games, the only other challenger i could see is Cabrera in detroit, but no matter how good he is he going to get over shadowed by Verlander's Cy Young.
