    Im born and raise in Pittsburgh love all my teams STEELERS PENS, AND THE BUCS. I think we got something special going on this year its really fun looking at the scoreboard and seeing if we get closer to first this year. This year is the WE ARE FAMILY year all pirates fans know what im talking about. We got a good shot even before the all star break to hit the top spot that will be my christmas in July. LETS GO BUCS

    i agree they should be able to make a run at it with the schedule they have coming up. 15 division games after this weekend Nats series, beginning with 9 against the Astros and Cubs.

    it would be awesome for the pirates to make the playoffs its gonna be a very tough road ahead but who knows anything is possible and lets hope the staff can keep going

    id love to see a packed pnc park. one of the best stadiums in the league but whenever i see it on sportscenter the place looks empty. hopefully the teams performance so far can put some people in the stands

    lincoln better bring it today. lots of arms down on the farm, so hes running out of oppo's. i love how they keep drafting pitchers. havent seen any pan out lately though.

    walker and paul will be back today. injury bug is hitting us, we just need to ride it out until july is over and then we have our full team. alvarez hit 2 hr's last nite, i think i heard that.

    that's Forbes Field where they played until about '71. That's Mazeroski at the plate before his 7th game walk off homer against the Yanks in '60. I love how the kids got out there to greet him at 3rd base.

    I looked up home run derby and it seems it started in '85. It couldn't have been at Forbes Field.

    McCutchen should definitely be there. It's amazing that he's not even on the 5 player ballot for the last player voted in. And Walker leading 2B in RBIs gets no consideration.
