Nice work Nino. I want to take the Marlins as well, but I'm now firmly convinced the Pirates have a deal with the devil.

fukkin' Miami...just like the Cubs...no matter what the lead is they're hell-bent on pissing it away...and every time i take a 20-30% bite out of my profit to lock it in...they hold...and when i decide they'll be ok and no need to pay the "deer in the headlights" insurance this time...the fukkers do just what MIA just did...aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh
well capped, Nino...too bad these million-dollar babies can't consistently execute the basics...a good freakin' college team could protect multi-run CHC and MIA leads better than these idiots manage to

Yeah, Fernandez was not sharp. Saw a highlight of him shaking out his hand or wincing or something. He get hurt?

Yep, pretty dirty that I've had 2 of the worst beats of my season in a week. On to the next one! Not digging the card that much today.

Home dog on a weekend game. Cliff Lee's run support averages 3.19 which is 7th worst in the Majors. Plus, the Phillies aren't a bad fade in general.

I've said it all season long. When the Dbacks offense goes cold, it stays cold for a bit. Chavez was hitting well, but he is back on the DL. No Byrd for the Mets it looks like, still think the Mets can dink and dunk 2-3 runs in the first five. Rookie pitcher making his 2nd start of the season for the Dbacks. Another card that I didn't love today. Lots of chalk out there.

Yeah, I edit/copied the format from yesterday and left the (+101) from the Nationals in there by accident. The Mets FF is +130. See it at +127 now. FF also hedges against the Mets' Pen. The Mets are 3-3 in 6 games against the Dbacks this season. 2 of the 3 losses have been 1-run losses and the other was a 2-run loss. These two teams play each other tight and I think the rookie for the Dbacks is a little overpriced here.

Exactly! Been listening to Billysinker and may go more FF for some of these teams with questionable pens. Getting late in the season and the bullpen arms are getting some wear and tear.

Yes definitely wayyyy more profitable to take FF doggies instead with teams that have crap BPs. The odds aren't much different a lot of times as well, well worth it in the end to take ffs.

Colorado Rockies RL -1.5 (+120) 2u 5Dimes
YTD
138-138-1 +8.02u
While normally one should be cautious with home run line wagers, I like this one. The San Diego Padres are 6-13 this season in the first game of a road series. Of those 13 losses, 11 have been lost on the run line. The Padres are coming out with Edinson Volquez who is 0-3 with 1 ND against the Rockies this season. All 3 losses that Volquez were credited with were on the run line. The Padres lost Volquez's no decision start 9-10. The only reason Volquez wasn't saddled with the loss and why the Padres didn't lose on the run line in that game was because of a relief pitcher named Rob Scahill. Scahill came in the game in the top of the 7th inning with a 9-4 lead and gave up 5ER on 4H without recording an out. As you can probably guess, this fukk stick is in the minors right now. Volquez's #'s against the Rockies are awful this season. In 4 starts this season Volquez has pitched 17 innings while giving up 34 hits, 24R, 23ER's, 10BB's with an ERA of 12.18 and Colorado has a .410 batting average against him.
Chacin is solid enough at Coors with a 6-3 record 4.27ERA and is 2-1 against the Padres with 1ND this season, 3.52ERA. Both wins were on the run line. The Padres are swinging cold bats managing just 11 runs in the last 5 games. The Rockies just swept the Pirates at Coors Field putting up 19 runs in 3 games. Momentum is on the side of the Rockies and as their first road game series record shows, the Padres start slow on the road.
