4/29/13. i see this one going just like Wainwrights last start against CIN. anytime STL gets -110 or so, a red flag goes up in my head that says to good to be true. the public will pound this line on pay day, and yet it will continue to close in towards even. causing more waves of public sided STL plays. books got this one set up to pay the bills. get on their side. CIN +105 for me.

what do you see here for STL besides Wainwright being the better pitcher on paper?

I've been trying to fade big name pitchers on popular, public teams on the road, being short favs all season. Results haven't proved anything one way or the other for me. Fade the Cardinals against left handed pitching, especially at home for the extra value (i.e., my play on the Dbacks on 6/5 @ +130 with Miley on the mound) and pound them against righties. The Cards lead almost every offensive category against right handed pitching in the NL. Give me that and Waino with a -110 or better every time, regardless of opponent in the NL.

Thanks. I hear ya on the spidey sense acting up when you see something that's too good to be true. Too many games in MLB for them to be able to correctly set the trap every time.
