    I have been following this angle for quite some time in both MLB and NBA. Always fade the team that comes from a cross country road trip on the first game facing a team on their first leg of a road trip.

    Here is where there is a difference. Braves were playing from home in Atlanta (not Toronto) and were sleeping in their home beds for 2 weeks and then flew 2,000 miles to SD. Padres were playing on the road for 2 weeks sleeping in hotels and travelled 3,000 miles back home. They also played a 7 hour game in the rain of and on before they flew home.

    lowe is the 1 guy in the rotation i dont trust right now, either he will throw a 2 hitter or give up 5 runs by the 5th inning

    You can fade the series too. But I think the first game of the series is the most critical one to fade in MLB. In NBA you have only one game.
