Rory 6-1 for the British Open!

Come on, that is a little too much respect that is almost Tiger odds from a few years ago. If the guy wins it , and they make him that for the next major fine, but damm 6-1. He is only 5 1/2 to one for the pga at 5dimes.

    wouldnt touch it

dont think he is as good as these so called experts are playing him up to be

he is good. but not in his prime tiger like. i will be watching for jason day in the next couple majors minus the british open. dont like him there. guy has been runner up in the last two majors and is a very very good player. might be his time next

Sure he's got a legit chance but no point in taking him at those odds. Ben Curtis won the last time it was in Royal St Georges. Probably be another no name this time.

This guy has been threatening to win a few majors now
Maybe this USA Open win gets pressure off him

I wonder if Tiger will play??

Or he's 22 and parties like a rock star for the next month and isn't ready for it. Tiger was a killer and winning two in a row was nothing....but even for him that was later on.

Also the jury is still out but IMO his game seems to be made for PGA events making birdies instead of grinding out wins in shltty English weather.

I'd probably take the field in the Open Championship......6-1 odds are too short for Rory.

I think he's only won 3 pro tournaments ever....one Euro tour event, one PGA event, and the U.S. Open - 6-1 seems crazy low

The books are just trying to lure in all the donkeys. I'm glad most people here aren't taking these awful odds. I think he chokes on his home turf.

Good call there, if he wins it is going to be 4-1 from here on out for every tourney he enters. Lets see him prove it first.
