    watched final round

    nbc did a piece for mcillroy

    it showed his swing from different anles etc, and as the camera changed angles with automation they said things about him. i cant remember what the words were exactly but they were like

    honorable
    creative
    sensitive
    captivating

    basically selling him to the public and at the same time saying all the things that TIGER turned out not to be

    my take

    any one remember?

    As soon as a conversation about Mcilroy is spoken, someone interrupts and speaks about how great Tigers Woods was at that age etc. We know this, but hes done. Fuking shut up and forget about him and realize that Rory is the KID at the moment.

    Problem is that Tiger's done what he's done and there is more than one KID at the moment.

    Matteo Monassero has more Euro wins than Rory and he JUST TURNED 18! In fact Rory blew a final round lead the tourney he played in after the Masters and Monassero won that tourney right before his 18th bday.

    Decent chance Rory won't even be the best of his generation.
