Simple. - 1 means you have to win by 2 but 1 pushes and -1.5 loses.

Same thing with over under. 3 goals means you win half the bet. 2 goals means you win the whole bet if you took under.

it's a bit more complicated then lakerboy has explained. those double lines are asian handicaps. So each bet you place is a 1/2 bet on each one of those 2 lines. If one wins and the other pushes u only win 1/2 of the amount on the odds they offered you. It is stupid but some people like it. I would try to find a book that gives straight lines if I were you, but then again maybe you will like the asian handicap.

-1,-1.5 means if the team wins by 1 you push 1/2 and lose 1/2 of your stake. To win outright the team you select needs to win by 2.

O2.5,O3 means if the game ends with a total of 3 then you push half and win half your stake. To win the total needs to end at 4+

    First example -1, -1 1/2:

    You bet 100$

Half of your bet is at -1. 50$

Half of your bet is at -1 1/2. 50$

    not stupid at all
great way to bet on soccer in particular and extremely popular
    generally quoted as -1.25 rather than -1, -1.5 and > 2.75 rather than >2.5, 3

I prefer the Asian handicap any day of the week over a 3 way. I bet a lot of soccer and it's saved me time and time again over the 3 way..

I like Asian Handicap betting lot. However I usually only place bets on a +1 or -1.

my apologies to anyone offended by me calling the asian handicap stupid. I just prefer to have a straight up line and take my wins or losses. I do understand the push, lose half, redemption potential, but I am more of a push is like kissing your sister gambler. To each his own. Not trying to offend anyone.
