I use a few locals and offshore. Getting the best line is key and locals often have great lines. Why do locals get a bad rap? Never having to put $ up front. As long as you are disciplined and not a degenerate, locals are great. Vi use this site for info, have learned a few great systems on this site. I don't post much, been here a year, but definitely use the site for info.

Why do you guys feel the need to bash non-pros? Seriously, just wondering because there are many reasons why someone may choose not to go pro. If they don't want too, or even if they don't gamble who cares just let them be free. Really, it's a bad look to always be making fun of people it almost makes you look jealous, definitely immature and I'm not defending either side, just stop roasting people and have some class that's all.

    I'm not a 'pro'.
I likely won't ever be a pro. I waited over a year to start posting here LONG before the 'points' thing.
I come here to maybe get an idea, or an angle that I have not considered.
I may not ever be a pro, but those free pizzas were awesome prior to becoming 'pro'. SBR is amazing and I thank them for all the swag/opportunities they've provided me...

That said, I can count on my hands how many posters are actually worth a damn. If it's not some anti-jew or anti-black or anti-Obama post, then I'm kinda happy... But, these forums are litered with said posts, because the tossers that post them have 0 angle on capping/betting/getting their money in good.

When betting, it's all about small edges. It's incredible how much money you win fading the forums, outside of said handful of posters.
It's not about the points... It's about winnin coin. The stats for 'pros' versus 'contributers' holds up fine on these forums, and I love it.
I'm no major player by any stretch, but I've bet crap I don't even follow just fading these forums, and I do o.k.

I'd love to support SBR more via referrals, but I'm just not that kind of player... Any site that allows blatent discriminational posts ticks me off. If I don't reap the benefits? I don't care. My life goes on... That all said, SBR is amazing, but the point system really brought out the dregs of humanity. I would post here points or not, as would a LOT of people. Give the site owners credit - they give away SOOOO MUCH money to us punters. Enjoy it. Use it. Donk it off. It don't matter - there are 0 websites that are this incredible to their fanbase. 0.

Despite my own issues, there is no more awesome site on the web right now for punters... And it ain't even close.

That's one of PoS69's better ones, there are so many attempted PoS69 scams tried in the past it's pathetic.

I considered going pro many times, but the more he tries to ram it down my throat, the less I consider it.

If PoS69 is the spokesman here for the point system, then count me out.

Because the first requirement is to create a NEW account at one of the listed books, and I already have existing accounts at most of them and I have no interest in the few where I do not.

No but you can get the original autographed sponges that PO left in his patients when he was a mexican doctor.

**He claims they were sponges,I still contend they were napkins from Jose's Fatburger Emporium.

SBR Pro doesn't mean 1/4 of what it did a year ago..has to be a new account no more free plays or cash in the store..basically worthless unless you're in dire need of trying to win a Wal Mart gift card to buy TV dinners..

The whole dynamic between pros and non-pros is asinine. Pro's shouldn't give shit to non-pros for not joining no matter the reason unless they own this site/are paid by it. If you feel like the SBR Pro title gives you some exclusive status that gives you the right to mock others your life is pathetic.

On the other hand the non-pros who feel the need to keep posting their reasons for not joining the program at every opportunity are equally retarded. Do you know how stupid you sound? A $200.00 requirement (even at a new book) is nothing. Feel free to point me towards another kickback system out there that returns the same value for what is required.

But wait you're a big time gambler betting at a local for big bucks so points mean nothing to you? Great, let's implement a new rule that SBR blocks the points systems of whoever uses this as a reason. No reason to keep it open for them to continue pointing out this fact to the lowly small time rollers. Keep using that oh so valuable time educating us! Not to mention that the barrier to entry for signing up at a new book is basically a bullshit excuse for 95% of people. These same guys were around when the system was implemented and this requirement didn't exist. They would have been grandfathered in yet still had some excuse back then for not joining.

The fact is that anyone who can do basic arithmetic knows there is value in the points.

Again, the SBRPRO debate. Being a pro means nothing. Absolutely nothing. It doesn't mean you gamble more, it doesnt mean you win more, it doesnt mean you have more money than me. All it means is you didnt have a betting account when you arrived at sbr, and that you opened your betting account thru sbr with one of their sponsors. that is all. I have $900 in my betjm acct, but I've had the acct for close to three years, long before i joined sbr. The only reason I'm not a pro is bc I already had my acct by the time i discovered this site. I inquired about becoming a pro, I told them I had a betjm account with over $200 in it, and they said sorry you gotta create the account and deposit thru us. Fine, no big deal, all it means is I lose out on 6 imaginary points a dad...big deal.

I cant stop laughing at the people who think being a pro actually means something whern it comes to betting, as if being a "pro" signafies being a better sports bettor or something. I GUARANTEE i have more money in my betjm acct and am a better sports bettor than 75% of "pros" (whatever a "pro" is).

Maybe it because if you wernt here when Pro thing 1st happened you know like how you didnt have to post up at a new book cause sbr allowed the guys that were already members to use existing account. .

I joined well after that and sorry but i am comfortable with the 2-3 books i have money and have had accounts with for years. With the state of US online gambling i have no desire to open a account at another book and put 200 bucks up when im happy at the ones im at. Not to mention the local i play with.

I feel it is rather ignorant to assume that because someone isnt a "pro"( i use that term very loosely.) means in any way they dont gamble. I promise their are "pros" that post around here that gamble far less than some non-pros.

Ive always respected you po69 (thanx for those pizzas a long time ago, that was cool), but this assumption is just wrong.

ive seen several posters that actually try to talk down to someone for not being pro but sorry if you a long time gambler and joined SBR after the grace period to use one of your existing accounts it really doesnt make sense to become one if all you wanna do is try and contribute to discussions/play contest and not looking for any perks (no fp for us player anymore anyway).

I still put the required 50 in whatever book sponsored the mlb contest and will throw 50 away to play in other contest, believe it was legends so once again i couldnt put 200 in there and become pro cause ive had a account there forever also (just never use). blew the 50 on a nba playoff parlay and back out of there. so even tho there no reason and doesnt make much sense for me to be a "pro" (again using that word loosely) i still feel like i contribute and certainly dont need someone judging me based of circumstances they obviously didnt think thru.

IMHO guys that recently joined and are pro are more than likely new to the game while some of us non-pros are Degen lifers.

Well if you look under the poster's names youll see "BECOME A PRO" or "SBR PRO". While it isnt a full list at least you can see what most active posters are.

You also have to sign up for this every 12 months. So that means you have to be able to create a new account at the sponsor books. Half of them wont take US action, and some of them I wouldnt deposit anyone elses money in let alone my own. So that leaves a very short list, which for the most part I am sure people have already had accounts with in the past.

    Stupid logic and stupid system.
