    Based on what?

That awesome housing market that is at a two year low, the unemployment that inched higher over 9% again, gas being $4, credit markets completely dried up, government forcing banks to buy bonds, consumer confidence dropping lower by the second...

    Shall I go on?

True there is a fukkton of money on the sidelines, but when the federal government actually sues an American company cause it wants to set up shop in South Carolina (non union) to flee inflated cost of doing business Washington (unions), how do you expect not only companies to react, but investors? Easily the most anti-business, anti free market climate in 30+ years.

Germany is fukked. Them dumb krauts have pledged to be completely free of nuclear power by 2020 or some shit. What the fukk are they going to replace it with?!?!?!? Inefficient and extremely costly wind and solar power? Good luck keeping your economy afloat when energy costs destroy businesses and consumers can't afford to power or heat their homes. What then? Billions in government subsidies every year?

And I am merely stating facts.

Fukk the jackass and the elephant, they're both out to rob us blind.

    Pop Quiz, 2 questions.

    1. Who makes money whether the market is going up or down?

    2. Guess which group of investors saw their investments outperform the average return of the stock market for the last 30 years by an average of 6% a year.

Needs to go down. Way overvalued right now. A correction is inevitable. Truth is, 12,000 is probably too high for the Dow right now. Such a reactionary swing based on the news of the day is no way to gauge what a true value is. Shit happens in Greece, hurricane threatens in Louisiana, floods in the midwest, etc.... No way to prepare when so much is affected by a bunch of doom-and-gloom jerkoff liberal media members.

There's lots of strong companies that are great buys right now. Disney and TXI to name a couple. Well run businesses with solid business models are going to prosper.....just like they always have.

When a commodity price is being propped up with borrowed money, that's how you know its a bubble. Oil is a bubble. I don't know if Gold is a bubble or not but since Gold has no intrinsic value nobody really cares. Between OPEC reaching the limits of total production, even for Saudi Arabia, and the fact that domestic oil production is at an all time high, the throttle on oil production both in the US and abroad is fully open. Eventually they'll run out of credit to pump up the bubble and it will collapse even farther down than normal prices since it will lead to a glut.

I don't have the schedule of economic indicators coming out this week but barring anything earth shattering I wouldn't be surprised if all eyes were back on Greece and the Debt Ceiling.

Oh and don't forget: you can usually tell how well the market is going to do in the US by checking to see how good the markets do in Asia and Europe the night before.

We are 2% below the 150 day moving average which makes me think this is a prolonged affair .Also I see alot of money flowing into the defensive names .Sting sell volume today as well vs weak value buying yesterday. As far as crude goes I would look for a slight bounce and it will continue further. If you take out the speculation we have $79 barrel oil .As far gold goes I would use that as a hedge going forward because you absolutley know we are going to have QE3 I have been taking delivery of gold lately as well.Outflows of cash and people not buying treasuries ,the US is in default on it's debt let's face it and the rest of the world is a systemic risk.I strongly reccomend we go net short here atleast until we hit earnings season.Even then I expect to see slowing in housing ,evermore stagnant unemployment and the possibility of QE4.

Futures are up slightly and I took the Dow up @ +150. Always go with the value even though I have very little confidence in the stock market these days.

was looking for 1. Wall Street, who makes money on the way down and up

    and

    2. Members of Congress. That's right boys and girls, there is a massive con game going and we are all the marks. Certainly no conflict of interest or insider trading going on when the people making the laws are also allowed to invest in which companies will succeed or fail.

    We are all suckers.
