    No walks allowed either but he hit a batter in the 1st inning and it was a judgement call.

    Doesn't even matter that Cleveland got a couple hits. Verlander's stuff was filthy today.

    12 strikeouts, a manageable pitch count, and just 2 hits. Dominant.

    It's so refreshing to see a great pitcher on a team that is actually backing him up and winning/gaining momentum. So much wasted talent in the MLB with good pitchers stuck on crappy teams / situations.
