I heard some woman in PA saying she thinks Obama will enslave the white race. The people that bettered themselves?

2. Obama has a plan to bring the middle class down. He wants to take the poor and the rooster suckers who are on welfare, food stamps, bridge cards that think working at McDonalds is below them up to middle class level. The only way he will do that is by having hte middle class pay for them. Doing that will result in the middle class being miserable. He wants the middle class to look to the guy on the park bench without a pad and feel the same way. The generations of todays youth will be bailing this mother fukker out in years to come. Look for income tax to reach 50% on the middle class. That is the only way to fund it.

Actually it was McCain who wanted 'amnesty' ala how they did it under "Ronny Baby".
While I support legal immigration and a massive overhaul in the system to make it work more effectively (and a heluva lot easier) - amnesty for breaking the law is no answer to the issue...

Obama's immigration plan really doesn't feel cemented to me - but it makes more sense than saying 'f it, you're here - here's some welfare and social security'. That's all we need is to continue the trend upwards of poverty in the nation and enlarging the welfare state.

So, for you economic geniouses that probably didn't get a nickle in tax breaks under Bush - maybe you can explain to me how cutting taxes on the lower classes in the nation keeps them down precisely? The whole point of Obama's plan is to get people working - and being able to support themselves. i think if an older black person votes for obama because he's black, that's certainly a better than any other reason i've heard.

most of us never experienced segregation, which was still around when harvey was a kid. and if by voting for someone of color somehow helps them contend with that mistreatment from their past, i can somehow understand that. i dont agree with it, but i can understand it. i would just hope that these people look more toward the future and their kids futures than the past.
