    The Lakers are looking like world beats in 2008/09

    I know were only 2 games into the season, but those Lakers look like they are going to dominate the West this year.

    Having Bynum back is huge for them, lets think about how huge this line is.
    PG Derek Fisher 6'4 and very strong
    SG Kobe Bryant 6'7 long and well he is Kobe.
    SF Lamar Odom 6'10 long and fast for his size
    PF Bynum 7'1 Young and strong
    C Gasol 7'1 Strong and Smart.

    The Lakers are by far the elite of the league

    Exactly I am not fan of Lakers either but you cannot deny how good this team is, and oh yea they have one of the best coaches of all time also.

    I do not see how this team loses a game this year if they play hard all the time

    Barring injuries they are a lock to be the champs to the tune of about -220

    They do look good this year. But I do agree, they played the Clippers and Portland so far, the real test is when they play a decent team.

    Well they reached the finals without Bynum, and the west is in transition. Young teams like NO and Utah might not be ready, and san antonio, phonix, dallas are too old.

    Gasol was one of the best moves the Lakers ever made. Any take them in futures?
    They have to be close to a lock to make the finals barring any injuries.
