Lou & Bodog team up to help my cause

After many of you have heard my rants and raves regarding my issues with Bodog having trouble finding a way to pay out my balance, there is finally some positive news to report. From what I heard from the management of Bodog, SBR & Lou fought hard on my behalf to try to better the deal that was offered to me by Bodog.

They worked together to move up the pay schedule so that I would be fully paid in 3 installments with the balance paid to me in full by one week from today, which would be two and a half weeks sooner than was originally offered.

In addition, Bodog agreed to share in the third party fee structure for the last 3 installments. With $450 in third party fees remaining, Bodog has now decided to split that amount with me, as opposed to the original deal, which had me paying the entire fee.

So, all in all, this is still a bad deal for me, but I want to try and keep this positive. I do understand that the gov't has made things difficult for all of us. The deal is better than it was before. It was nice to see that Bodog was willing to compromise, which was all that I asked for. I feel that in the changing landscape of online gaming, the only solution is for everyone to realize that they have to give a little to make it work.

Thanks to Lou & SBR for assisting.

I'm happy to hear Lou was able to negotiate a better deal on your behalf, Chambers. Hopefully some day we live in a world where the only processor issues that exist result from us not having any winnings to process.

I think Legions is definitely a "shill" (someone from BoDog) but I have to say my experience with them has been nothing less than great but I am starting to realize that their line-differences from other books make a huge difference as I gamble more and more their lines kind of suck but you sacrifice one aspect for another, their customer service is great and website too but that should be no excuse for high juice

Glad to hear you got things worked out. What I don't understand is why do people always moan about fees. Hell when I'm at the track....If I cash anything over a cnote the cashier always gets anywhere from 5 to 10 percent tip. Doesnt matter if he's a stinky old man or a hot young babe.

If u really do think that then a) let me be ur bookie and b) time to either stop gambling or change ur book. Its not like they dont already make $ from 97% of players and now ur saying that they should get even more

    Good advice.

Giving away 5 - 10% of one's win is a sure road to riches.

And one other thing. Why does SBR get a pat on the back. The fact that BoDog even thought of scamming this poor guy should be enough to take them down off the recommended list. Just goes to show you SBR is as crooked as the shadiest of books are.

They're not protecting anything by doing what they're doing. It is all completely pointless, that is the saddest part about all this. You really think the DOJ cares what states Bodog does and doesn't send checks to?

That reminds me, I recently read an article on gambling911.com that stated that most of the major books who were indicted changed their domains to foreign ones (ex: .eu, .ag, etc..). I know Bookmaker was the most targeted book out of the operation and they changed their domain to .ag. BoDog also changed their domain to .eu, does anybody know if this was done out of precaution or if they were actually indicted?

Lou has always been a good guy in my book, ever since I played my first Beat The Prick contest. It has been smooth sailing.

What is not enjoyable is paying fees to withdraw your own funds. I know some books offer a free withdrawal if you get 2000 player points.
A nice thing about AP/UB, when I got my funds, no funds were charged.
Bodog might change their ways if any books offer lower transfer fees. Ain't it sick they already charge you 10 percent juice for every bet and in poker 5 percent juice, and then when time to cash out, there is another fence to jump? Over $400 and some in fees is absurd in anyone's book.
