Not leaving this transfer window, I'd say. Nasri leaving pretty much confirms that Cesc is staying at Arsenal for another year.

The news is that Barca don't have the money to match Arsenal demand. Looks like he is staying for another season.

Arsenal want like what 30-40mil pounds? Barcelona cannot pay this. They are already trying to buy Sanchez for something similar from Udineze.

He is overrated, Barca didn't need him to win all those CL/league trophies + they are in debt so they should probably sell someone before buying him.

He stays at Arsenal, he's a key player there and a fan favorite so unless Barca really want him he won't be leaving.

Yeah I agree. Don't see how Man City for example will attract him. But who knows, we'll wait and see.

    Wow, he's gone, eh?

Just my two cents...these top-end tfr prices often wind up being busts. Just don't fit in, injury, or not as good as they hoped. Fans/media/mgmt just spike these tfr fees. It's insane. Sometimes the better teams are mid-priced players.

he'll be in and out of the 1st team for the first couple of years but barca bought him for the future as a obvious replacement for the ageing xavi thats why his buyout clause is €200 million.

i knew the first time last season. but stupidly, he is the captain. so foolish of wenger to have been bluffed by the so much younger cesc. he thought giving the armband would make him stay. not a chance, because cesc is not a man of his words and he is not a man who can be relied upon.
