Johnny Avello, headman at Wynn's Las Vegas, calls me..."Vegas' best kept secret."
Jimmy Vaccaro, Dean of Vegas oddsmakers, calls me... "Vegas' biggest Light Under a Bushel"
And here's what others in Vegas have to say:
"******* ***** is a handicapper to the nth degree. From the pp's to the form sheets, from intangibles to hard numbers, he knows his stuff and his winning record proves it!"
Chuck Esposito, Sportsbook Director, the Venetian & the Palazzo "******* ***** is Vegas's gold standard. There is nobody better."
Kenny White, handicapper, former head of Las Vegas Sports Consultants "***** is the best of Las Vegas: sharp as they come but a stand up guy."
Herb Speedy Newman, Veteran Las Vegas Wiseguy "As a contest winner I got to know ******** *****very well and we are on the same page. Richard understands our game is not just about winners... but profits!"John Conte, 2009 Eclipse award winner& DRF Handicapping Champion
Sure, the Vegas regulars know. That's why my seminars at the Palace Station are STANDING ROOM ONLY.
That's why my radio seminars with Ralph Siraco on my Las Vegas Radio Show is A RATINGS WINNER.
That's why my "Horses to Watch" is the hottest sheet in town.
A little personal note
I come from Steubenville Ohio, heart of America's Steel Belt.
Steubenville was called "little Chicago." Every block had illegal bookie joints, card games, craps and every con you could think of. Dean Martin came from here. He used to work one of the joints.
Life in the mills was tough. Anything to get out! My dad used to take me with him to the racetrack in Waterford Park in nearby West Virginia. Two minutes of hope was like a chocolate malted. But three winners was a ticket out. I made my first bet at fourteen. By 17, I was a master.
A lot of water has gone under the bridge and I have found a million edges since then. But I am still hungry!
Winning is no mystery when you work as hard as I do.
I have been studying this game since I was 14 when my dad started taking me to Waterford Park in nearby West Virginia. So there is a lifetime of effort behind every pick. I'm not "brilliant" - I just work hard!
I memorize every horse's breeding, its running style, its best distance, its favorite surface.
I construct its form cycle: when it peaks; then it goes stale.
I know who's hurt, who's healing, who's ready to come back and who isn't.
I study the tracks and track bias, their surface characteristics and the good and bad running lanes.
I monitor trainer tendencies. Their strong points, favorite moves, pet strategies and their rate of success.
I get fresh word from track informants.
Computers?I am a computer. That's not fantasy; that's neurological fact. I don't have a computer's STORAGE power. But I can see around corners better than it can. And the combination is very juicy for me and the players who bet with me. And that should include YOU.
I can find good things you cannot. I cover ALL the major tracks. I see ALL races (I mean really see on Vegas wall-size screens or in private booths where I can re-play as often as I like)...
I see moves in the making. I spot horses ready to exceed recent form, and by keeping a tight rein on information I preserve VALUE for my players.
You get an average of 3 BEST PLAYS each day at Belmont, Hollywood, and Churchill. Some picks will be for winner-only, some will be for EXACTA or TRIFECTA.
Here's the price schedule:
