Anybody know the limits in Vegas books?

I'm just wondering what are the limits in various books since I"ll be in Vegas tom. I know Caesars will allow you $2.5k/bet since I asked years back. However,I don't know if it changed? Also wanted to know how much to bring in Vegas for this trip for big action. Thanks and I appreciate all feedback!

LOL Bronxer, give the kid a little chance to hang himself. He asked limits he didn't say he had that kind of money. Even a guy who drops five hundred on a game can with huge dumb luck & horrible money management roll it into a Max bet.

When I went to bet $400 on 2nd half of Chargers preseason game guy had to ask his manager. His manager said, "Yeh we take that this is not Leroy's"

Golden Nug, was preseason 2nd half, i doubt they write more than a few tickets total, probably like 15 people bet during time frame and not all on that game

Actually there is.The guy in the Caesars book had to ask his manager and he said the max per bet is $2500.The guy informed me it depends on your membership/rewards status with the casino. This was like in 2009 I think. Nowadays,I'm not sure what the limits are since I use online sportsbooks.

Is that based from experience? WOW.I guess you're one of those who just bet because someone says so.And ever heard of bankroll management? Anyway, all bets I make I study carefully. Also I dont bet all my bankroll at once. If I do lose,I stop and backoff.Grab a drink and just wait for good pick.

every sport has its own limits (game, total,ML,halftime, etc.)
usually posted somewhere in the book
Sunday in the NFL a lot of higher end books have much higher limits
You might be able to only be $5K-$10K on Monday for a NFL game and $50K-$100K on Sunday. If they put up opening numbers on Sun night it might be lower like $2K. Back when the Stardust was around and still meant something there were 15-20 guys there Sun nights to bet the openers. You had to register with the book and only those players were allowed to bet for 15-30 minutes.

Depends on the sport and the game. You can bet more for higher profile games, but less for lower tier matchups. You'll have no problem getting $2,500 down for most games at the big sportsbooks in Vegas. I've seen a guy bet $20k against the line for a high profile college football game at one of the major sportsbooks.
