I don't know that they'll be 13 pts the entire game. Better to tease the dog here because they can easily win by a field goal. Lot of cushion either way.

No disrespect here, but if you play opposite sides in the game, some bookmakers call that a "dumb-guy" teaser, since it is an anti-correlated parlay. You'd need to get about +160 on a 2-team teaser to break even on this.

I just don't think the Ravens winning straight up is safe enough for this teaser, regardless of the YTD of these "wise guy" teasers off the -7.5 lines as this is. And instead of playing it straight up, I think it's the next best tease on the board, as this week seems kind of dried up.

I did consider Ravens -1.5, but I think that play would be rolling the dice more regardless of the conventional wisdom of teasing -7.5 down..

For NFL games I guess. College provides lots of worse opportunities.

But, I was mostly referring to the fact that the total for this game is sitting around 35, making any underdog teaser on this game far from the worst possible.

It's not about conventional wisdom. It's about basic math. You are teasing across a bunch of numbers that are basically worthless. If your logic about unders and the "lack of safety" holds true, then you should be massively on the under and on the Raiders +7.5. Would you take a 12 pt dog and buy a half pt for 10 cents?

I don't have any data in front of me, but I was assuming almost any 35+ favs would be worse. Judging by your response I'm guessing I was wrong on that.
