    Soderling to beat Nadal +259

The price on Nadal to win this match is insane, and i have never seen him at -285 on clay at the French Open. Don't watch much Tennis, but is there something wrong with the kid, besides not really playing his best. Could be a grind and go 4/5 sets.

    Soder +5.5 and ML.

That is apparent since he has been over -300 all tournament. Not to mention most of his career @ RG outside of maybe finals.

check status on Sode's blister, it was bothering him pretty bad closing out his last match, just a heads up

Really, isn't he usually like -2000 or -1000 in clay matches? I've totally forgotten

nadal plays through injuries, and wins. apparently a simple blister messes with Soderling's game?

    you need luck

Nadal will win, stay away from Soderling. No way Nadal loses to him again at the French, too much fight in that man!

Ah sorry mistook your statement. He's still massive favorites against most, but I think they are setting this based on the one upset two years ago and Nadal not being quite as dominant this season. But honestly, outside of Djokovic, no one touches him on clay in 2011.

I think he was around -300 against Federer in final of 2008 or 2009. Nothing even close since. But this line is even lower and money has been pouring in on Soderling so far.
Off course theres one obvious reason, Soderling knocked him out in last years RG. But can he do it twice in a row? Epecially now that everyone kinda expects him to at least give Rafa a fight, including himself and Nadal... I would be very surprised if this happens. And if it does i would start seriously worrying about whats going on with Rafa at this stage of his career.

Thanks for brief explanation. I also was curious about the reason on Nadal's high value.

Nadal is still pretty sharp but off his game a little this clay season

Yes he won two events and got beat in the other two finals but I did notice he is not putting points away as easy and guys hanging around against him

    His serve is weak too

Soderling a very good player but struggles in big matches

    Me??? No play

Yes I'm on Soderling ML as well. I've been watching both of them play these last few days and today's game reminds me of the last and only time Rafa lost here.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think Soderling has a great chance to win today and I like the price I'm getting. Should be a great game at least

you just get the feeling that nadal could potentially go up a few a gears and if that happens, soderling is no chance to even take a set off nadal. the game total at 37.5 is too high for my liking so the best decision here is a PASS!

more value on the women's game totals imo

I have trouble seeing Nadal losing.

Even one set. They will all be close sets but Nadal takes them all.

Not bad value in my opinion. Soderling is playing as well as he ever has right now.

That was two years ago. Nadal won the French Open last year.

No chance to take a set? What odds are you offering? Soderling has a chance to take a set regardless of how well Nadal is playing, and I've not been impressed with Nadal of late.

If Soderling has "no chance" to take a set, you could bet Nadal 3-0 at +175 or so. But you're passing.

Bodog has +275, but I waited too long and they closed betting at 9:55 for no apparent reason.
