    Big 10 NCCAF predictions?

I think the standings will close like this...

    1. Nebraska
    2. Wisconsin
    3. Michigan St.
    4. Michigan
    5. Ohio St.
    6. Iowa
    7. Penn St.
    8. Northwestern
    9. Illinois
    10. Purdue
    11. Indiana
    12. Minnesota

    BOLDEST PREDICTION....

Michigan will be much improved based on the defensive side of the ball alone.

Nebraska should dominate this weak conference for a couple years before they drift back to the dulldrums of boring football.

LOL your own retort dooms your standings. In terms of talent and power, Ohio St is the number one team in the big 10. Will the coaching change affect it yes....

who gives a mf about talent and power...

do the standings according to each division...then compare to the prices you can get from the books now...thats value to people

Otherwise might as well put that MSU is going to be on top of the big ten because the green they wear is the same shade from my favorite cereal lucky charms

Form an Iowa perscpective, you are fairly spot on having them in the 6th spot.

Think you have PSU vastly underrated.

    Mighty, settle the fukk down.

    Ok, you clowns win.

    LEGENDS

    1. Nebraska
    2. Michigan St.
    3. Michigan
    4. Iowa
    5. Northwestern
    6. Minnesota

    LEADERS

    1. Wisconsin
    2. Ohio St.
    3. Penn St.
    4. Illinois
    5. Indiana
    6. Minnesota

Michigan FINALLY beats Ohio St. Nebraska BEATS Wisconsin to go to the ROSE bowl and/or possibly NATIONAL TITLE GAME.

It is also quite apparent that Legends is a much tougher division.

IOWA'S COKER has a chance to be the best RB in the conference............very similar style to SHONN GREENE.

    Really a good one........and only a sophmore.

I don't know much about football, but will say that they probably have to most talent in the conference, but that does not always mean the best team !! JMO

First of all, let's get down to reality here. Pryor will NEVER play another down at Ohio State. You can take that to the bank. With the total upheavel that is going on there, and the very real threat of severe sanctions being handed down, the chances of several seniors jumping ship and going in the NFL supplemental draft are very real. We do not even know if Ohio State will be allowed to participate in a Bowl game this season or not.

As far as the others are concerned, the Greek posted the odds for teams winning the division, and the conference. Here they are:

    Leaders:

    2021 Illinois +800
    2022 Indiana +1500
    2023 Ohio State +250
    2024 Penn State +150
    2025 Purdue +1500
    2026 Wisconsin +175

    Legends:

    2031 Iowa -300
    2032 Michigan +500
    2033 Michigan State +350
    2034 Minnesota +4000
    2035 Nebraska -285
    2036 Northwestern +600

    Conference:

    2531 Illinois +2000
    2532 Indiana +7500
    2533 Iowa +800
    2534 Michigan +1500
    2535 Michigan State +500
    2536 Minnesota +10000
    2537 Nebraska +150
    2538 Northwestern +1000
    2539 Ohio State +350
    2540 Penn State +250
    2541 Purdue +5000
    2542 Wisconsin +650

These odds were posted BEFORE the caca hit the fan at Ohio State and Tressel resigned. Notice how Ohio State was NOT favored to win or even finished 2nd in their Division, much less the Conference. The odds on Ohio State winning either their division or the conference will surely climb. To say that they still have the best team in the Big 10+2 is utterly ridiculous and demostrates the complete lack of understanding people who stated this have. Try to post something that resembles a knowledge of what you are talking about next time. Try looking at the whole picture, not what you may have read in some outdated Magazine or post on line.

I think that Wisconsin has to be the favorite to win the Leaders (Liars) Division, followed by Penn State. Ohio State will do well to finish ahead of Illinois. I will give them the edge, only because no one knows what Zook will do at Illinois. I like Purdue to finish 5th, with hapless Indiana finishing 6th.

I like Nebraska to win it all in the Legends Division, but it will be closer than some think. Michigan State will give them a battle, but I will give Nebraska the edge, based on the schedule, which sees Nebraksa playing Michigan State, what is left of Ohio State, and Iowa at home. I will pick Northwestern to finish third, only because IMO, they have the best coach in the Big 10, and they often fly off the radar, until you have to play them. Michigan should be improved, but they have to show me some semblence of a defense before I can pick them any higher than 4th. Iowa loses a lot of talent, and has a coach who is very overrated IMO, so I will pick them to finish 5th. Northwestern, Michigan, and Iowa can easily change places. Those three are very close. Minnesota will finish 6th.

Both Indiana and Minnesota may not win a Big 10 game, because they do not play each other. I will give Wisconsin a slight edge over Nebraska to win it all, because I am not sure about Pelini's offense, which runs hot and cold. I would have picked Nebraska, but I cannot forget that terrible bowl game they played against Washington, after having defeated the same Washington team, by 35 points in Washington earlier in the season. It will be very close. Those two play each other in Wisconsin relatively early in the season I do not see any Big 10 team finishing undefeated, and I think it will be very difficult for any Big 10 team to finish with one loss. I do not see any Big 10 team playing in the NC game.

I certainly would hope so. I have not found any other odds for Divisional and Conference Championships on other off shore sites.

I did do some checking and the Greek has Iowa at +6000 to win it all. 4 other off shore books have them at +8000 or higher, so there may be a lot of validity to what you posted.

Again, Iowa's defense will be a work in progress this coming season...........I wouldn't even wager on them at 40-1 to play in a BCS bowl, let alone win the national championship.

I would need at least 300-1 before I was a buyer.

I agree Fish, and as I have stated on numerous times, I do not like Ferentz. The thing to watch about Ferentz is this. He seems to do a lot better with projects (11-2 in 2009) than he does with a senior laden team (8-5 in 2010).

I like the way you think Daddy. Although it will be a tough season for the badgers to rebound on after losing some key players (Watt, Kendricks, Moffit) to the draft. Should be an interesting season in the Big 10+2 and I'm personally interested to see how it pans out. Let's go Bucky! My decision might be slightly parial to the Basgers (proud Wisconsinite).
