    Sacroiliac Joint Problem

So I f*cked up my SI joint playing tennis yesterday. Can't stand up without massive shooting pain, can't even bend to wipe my a$$, can't drive. Anyone else have this problem? Chiropractor said to ice it down and stretch, isn't working so far.

Alternate ice and wet heat (hot shower, hot tub, whirlpool) every two hours for 15-20 minutes.

Do your stretches during the wet heat when you're at your most limber.

If you dont have any gastric ulcer problems, add Ibuprofen 600-800 miligrams (depends on your size/wt.) three times a day with food. Make sure you take it with food.

It would be helpful if your bone bender would write you some muscle relaxers (flexeril or soma or something similar).

If this doens't get better, you may need an MRI to rule out a lumbar disc...if MRI is negative, you may wind up going the steroid injection route mentioned above.

    Hope this helps!
