    Presumably Blake is smart as he attended Yale... However, it could have been on tennis scholarship or b/c he is a rich connected CT boy.

    "Tennis smarts" I would have to give it to Fed. Even in his "later years" he puts together some of the most mind boggling points, seemingly thinking many shots ahead with particular attention to his opponents strengths and weaknesses. This is in contrast to a player that relies on "craftiness" or brute strength/endurance (Nadal).

    Federer got his ass kicked by Murray today.

    18 yr old Kei Nishikori has to be one of the smartest.... very avg game but has beaten the likes of Blake, Ferrer and Querrey.

    I'd say Gilles Simon, he really knows how to draw errors. He's physically quite limited, but now looks a good shot to be top10 at the end of the year. Extremely effective.

    I still don't know how Simon was able to win down 6-1 in 3rd tiebreak vs. Tsonga. Fvcker cost me a lot of $$$$$$$$$ with that shit.
