There will be some here who are doing exactly what they want to be doing but for others they had to make a choice long ago to do what they had to do even though they would rather have been doing something else.
I know that was the case with me. I mean I jumped at the chance to work for the city when it came around and I took classes and moved up the ladder with each license I acquired.
Now 23 years into it I look back and regret everyday that I played it so safe. I mean yeah my pension is safe (for now) but I am so bored and there really aren’t anymore avenues in which I can advance.
If you had the chance to do it over what career path would you have chosen?
