Just saw the commercial and it looks nasty. Seems like it does all the things that the iPad doesnt..

Fish,It looks like It got some mixed reviews from some tech sites.

It sells for the same price as the Ipad.....And the Ipad has a bigger screen and a better selection of apps.

I believe the Blackberry Playbook is WiFI only,If your not within distance of a hot spot,no Internet.

If your looking to take your gadget on the road,WiFi and 3G is the way to go.

This is what I was curious about. When you mean "link up" do you mean that your blackberry phone with a data plan can be used a a mobile "hot spot" for your Playbook to access the internet ???

Yea. I have the torch and was dying to get the playbook. But I need a 10" screen. 7" is not enough.

This thing is having major issues...they just recalled a few hundred thousand of these due to software issues.

RIM is falling further and further behind in this game. They keep coming out with inferior products after the rest of the world.

    JJ's 100% right.

I was a blackberry guy for the past 5 years until about 2.5 months ago. The iPhone 4 is so far above any Blackberry that is out there its laughable. Even the torch just feels like a cheap knockoff of the iPhone.

The iPad2 is just as awesome. I wouldn't consider going with anything besides Apple, now. They've left everyone in the dust.

YES, when connected you can look at the blackberry phones emails and send txts, use the phones data plan etc.

the one thing you have decide is if you want the 7 inch screen or prefer the 9.5 (ipad) or 10.1(newer androids).

i personally like the playbook alot more then the ipad due to the size and the bridge feature... also playbooks in the near fututre are going to have access to the android market...

Opie your a sell out. The torch is nothing like an iphone. How is it a knockoff? These android phones are more iphone knockoffs, if anything.
