greek's new rule about sportsbook transfer

a new rule was recently implemented that requires the transfer credit to be rolled over 4 times before withdrawal, no bonus was involved here. Guess the time that you can transfer smoothly between greek and matchbook is gone.

    headache..

This new rule really surprises me.
I understand there is cost associated with sportsbook transfer, but 4 times rollover? Give me a break.

    It's quite simple really.

Players were using Greek/BetJM as a bank since other books have processing issues. They aren't a bank.

I'm sure they'd really like to keep their processing effective, and keeping the # of transactions low is a good way to do it.

4x rollover is still easy to meet for serious players.

This is not really new. We discussed it and moved on a few weeks ago in the "Sportsbook and the Industry" forum.

I don't see much to debate about it. Greek has set their terms. They are making a clear statement that the old system with 1x rollover was not good business for them.

So they have new B2B terms reflecting their business reality. If they work for you, use them, otherwise, don't.

I would love if they would continue to act as the industry's charitable organization but I can understand why they wouldn't.

Look at it from TheGreek point of view sir. If you found out that your company was being used to process your compositions business, wouldn't you invoke that same type of rule? Personally I would have made it 5x's, however that's just me.

I agree, Greek is just trying to stay in business. Its a smart business move. 4x rollover is not an outrageous thing to ask at all.

Danny, does this rule also apply if the transfer is coming from BetJM?

Id like to know the answer to this also. I transfered a large amount out of my Bet Jam account to my Greek account a month ago, I just figured it was the normal 1x rollover. I would have just cashed out if I thought/known it was a 4 x rollover.

    later

    "compositions business"?

BBD, I thought you were off the sauce.

    Maybe you meant competition (competitor).

I figured it did however I wanted to double check to find out for sure gentlemen. It does indeed apply to in-house-transfers as well.

Below is the live chat log confirming this:
You're now talking to Theresa from 'Customer Support' The topic is : Book-to-book In House Transfers

    Theresa> Hi

BBD> Hi, I read that there was a new rule in place these days about a 4x's rollover on book-to-book- transfers, however I was wondering if that 4x's rollover applied to in house transfers between TheGreek and BetJamaica?

Theresa> Yes ,All book transfers requires a 4x rollver including transfers from the Greek.

BBD> That's what I thought but I wanted to double check was all. Thanks for answering my question. Have a nice day.

Theresa> Thanks and th same to you.

Yes i dont understand everyone crying over a 4x RO. For some that can be done in a few days to a week. 4x is no problem at all.
