I don't think it's based on color why some are afraid for what he brings though. There are many things that people are uncertain of here. For example, his muslim ties that were never clerified, his lack of public viewing of his birth records, his ties to the black panthers, his ties to American terrorists, etc. I agree with BTIB, there is no right choice here. We're doomed either way. Here are some scenarios of what I see happening.
McCain-Will get into office, won't see much change, the country won't immediatly go on an up swing and he will be bashed. He will be called "Bush" like and people will be in uproar.
Obama-Will get into office, won't see much change, the country will immediatly say "It's still Bush's fault. He fukked us good." Democrats will do the norm and blame everything and anything on Repub. and nothing will get accomplished.
What this country needs is a strong leader, someone with a serious background in politics, someone whom can put all the bullshit aside and want to do something for the better. Someone whom isn't going to bullshit his way into the White House just to be in there, someone who will tell it how it is and not say one thing and do another or not do anything at all and blame the counter party.
