I agree with sharps on the Cardinals, but I am passing totally on 49ers and Rams games.

Pats went 8-0 before that last game. That game is really when the lines got outta whack. If you don't think those lines above are bloated when betting the NFL, you simply haven't been paying attention. I don't care how good a team is, they shouldn't be laying 24 to teams like Philly who despite last season's record is was still as solid as the teams that put them in all of those NFC championship games.

My point is that you can't look back and say, whoah, they only won by 3. That's retroactive thinking. Here on SBR we were all commenting on those 20+ point lines and taking the dogs the whole time. That's just insane points to be laying in the NFL. I'm not sure what planet you've been on to question any of these facts.
What facts am I questioning exactly? I'm not going to sit here and argue semantics with you. I said the Redskins were laying '07 Patriot numbers and you denied it. Yet, you give me a list of games which you call inflated lines, which averages out to laying 15.25/game. Pretty close to the STL/WAS spread. I really don't care what side you're on. I trust my model and the sharps betting patterns far more than anything you can bring to the table.

Just jumped on the Jets, already -8.5 on the news. Should be easy money, if there was such a thing in this business.

Glad I stayed away from this.....although I still don't trust the Jets...what's the over/under now? I'd probably go under...whatever it is.

    Hey Slack,

Thanks for the kind words! I'm not on that game because I missed +14 when it was available early in the week! Happens to me alot because I have limited time to cap and I hit CFB first...alot of the good lines have already moved in the NFL! GL to you though! The Rams could just as easily come out and lay a turd after their bye just like Detroit! The Lions were even at home unlike St. Louis!

44.5 is the total for NYJ/Bungles! I've been on both of the last 2 road overs w/the Bengals (Giants/Cowboys)! The Bengals offensive numbers are tilted because of 2 games (1 w/o Palmer and 1 w/Tenn 30-50 MPH winds leftover from Ike)! They're not that bad and the Jets secondary isn't good! I see this being like 30-24 one way or the other!

How about without Palmer, the Bengals still embarrass the Jets?

lol, that would seem to be the wise decision. However the Jet's have not proved much to me and are heavily overrated. Also, the last time the Jets were favored by 10 points, Shanon Sharpe was speaking perfect English. Just can't do it here.

Palmer Sitting on a bad line (+7 -110) due to the injury. Favre is more than capable of keeping the Bengals in the game. Fitz better come ready to ball.

The Jets D isn't all that bad and coming off a bye week will have had time to work on things. Cleveland's defense is worse than the Jets and did you see how bad Fitz did?

Exactly what are you basing that on???

    #27 Carson Palmer 58.1 completion % 182.8 yds/gm 3 TD 4 Int 69.0 QB Rating

I'm with ya brother. Not sure if I am going to bite yet, but I've seen a lot of compelling arguments for the Begals... ...I mean Bengals. Cincy has way too much talent to remain undefeated.

I was listening to sportsrage on serius radio and apparently there were some who loved the Bengals ml and put down earlier in the week. Now they are holding tickets, etc to the game in which Palmer will not play and the ml moved. I don't like their chances as much without Palmer or with Fitzpatrick. Good luck either way.

No ML but I am holding a Cincinnati +6.

And I will just eat it since it is just a normal 2.5% play anyway, I don't want to expose myself to a burial if game lands on 7 and I no longer have an interest in backing Bengals unless game hits around +13.
