    small fields tonight... here my picks:

    race 1. No. 5: fast fractional times last race, no reflected in beyer index. box to wire...
    race 2. No. 2: need the last race. should kill this field drop in class, if fractionals goes fast, the No. 1 can close and get in time.
    race 3. No. 5: this horse is ready today, last workout said its live... chance to break his maiden as 7 yrs old. a lot of chance
    race 4. Pass
    race 5. No. 1: Best bet of the Day. A lot speed on this race (2-6-8), i like $1 tri 1 all all and $2 trfecta 1 9 all and 1 all 9
    race 6. No. 3-7-8, favorites looks great.
    race 7. No. 4-6
    race 8. pass

    Great to see a horse racing thread in players talk. Maybe get more people into racing.

    Hollywood parks site is great , has write ups from drf guys like pace and others.

    Tk forty six in the third

    alaska miss in the sixth

    and queen of california in the eighth seem to be consensus picks.

    You are right on the fifth ,seems like some fast horses in that one, visual intensity seems to always come second but right there.

    race 1, the 5 was box to wire, won easy... beats the heavy favorite (1-1), pays $7.20 to win...
    i dont know why beyer shows 67, when this horse lose at 6fgs in 1:07.94 by 5 lengths
    and the favorite earns 78 beyer, losing by 3 lengts in a time of 1:09.09, who can explain me?

    sorry guys missed my best bet...!, for those that follow my pick in race 3 / the horse won and payed $17.60 finally broke his maiden at 7yrs old.... not usual in big tracks for maiden races...

    i mean why pay when you can get it for free? theyre free on xpressbet and twinspires so long as you bet $2 bucks on that track...and if youre betting ponies without either xpressbet or twinspires...I dont know what the hell youre doing.
