    If the guys rich enough to just forget about the 50k he's carrying around then he wouldn't e getting it back from me,and if he did track me down I'd have to assume the guy I picked up just after him had taken it

    A similar thing happened in my city about 8 or so years ago, but it was a nightclub owner and his bank deposit. I can't remember the amount, but it was more than 10K and less than 30K. It was returned as well.

    I would return it. If you were driving a taxi and a known big time hustler accidentally left his stash behind when you dropped him off at a Vegas hotel, would you take it. I wouldn't because I guarantee you that person would track down every taxi driver in that city. People kill for just a few hundred dollars, not worth the risk if the person knows how you look.

    I'd give it back if I were HIM, the business guy obv knows he left it in the cab. You never know who you are stealing from. If I found it on the ground, hell no i'd bring it in to the police, but in his situation, i can see why he returned it. $500 thou is a slap in the face. 5k is more fair.

    I agree with giving it back, but man is that a bullshit tip or what? $500 bucks? Dude could have at least sent him and his kids to Disneyland or handed the cabbie $3000! Hell, Mr. "I don't trust banks" also got his laptop and passport back! That cabbie could have seriously fuk'ed up this guy's day if he wanted too. No telling what kind of info was on the laptop and he could have sold the passport, stolen the dudes identity, etc... Doesn't surprise me, some rich fuk'in Arab being a fuk'in cheap skate!

    also i was wondering why the taxi guy was smiling so much. but i checked this site out http://taxiroute.co.uk/

    and found out the arab was charged 7,000 euros. which is standard for a trip from police station to pub.

    cabbies gotta to make a living also.

    Why not take the money just to bet them on +100 odds, if you win you will return the 50 000 and you will keep the rest of the money + the tip, this is how you get better odds.
