Sbr needs to fix this now!

I just went and tried to donate $150 to St. Judes Church in the SBR Store and it does not allow me because I am not an SBR Pro. That is completely ridiculous and needs to be changed immediately.

Wow, they will allow me to purchase signup bonuses at Sportsbooks but don't allow me to give money to the poor. This is really pissing me off. We all know why they will allow you to purchase cash too from these sportsbooks. Because it benefits them. But St Judes donations don't benefit them, so then it's now allowed.

Giving money to charity should not be a limitation to SBR Pro's.

I wholeheartedly agree. That is just a stupid policy. They need to make an exception to their new rules for charitable endeavors.

your points are worthless if you do not become pro..

this would just open door to more demands by non-pros..

put two hundred in a book or use some of your 60% winners and donate yourself...

It's not about me, obviously I can do that. But anyone should be allowed to donate if they so choose to. Giving money to charity shouldn't be a limitation to only SBR Pro's.

I agree, mods should change this. You're giving your points for a good cause, it's not like you're ordering an iPod for yourself -- there is no expense to SBR. I don't see the big deal, SBR should make an exception for charitable donations.

You can buy stupid SBR shirts but can't donate to charity. It makes zero sense.

He made a public thread because you gotta do some things publicly sometimes instead of privately talking to mods.

The more people put pressure on authority, the more likely they are to change, haven't you tools learned anything from the middle east/north Africa recently?

I didn't want to go public. I went to the mod chat first to get it fixed and he completely dismissed me as if what I was asking for was crazy. So this is why I started up the thread.

I'm sure it's just an oversight on SBR's part. They probably didn't even consider a nonpro would make a donation.

If you really feel that strong about donating, I'm sure they're ways to get it done.

Putting all issues aside, you gotta give SBR credit for creating a system (SBR Pro) that probably doubled their revenues, or even better.

Makes sense to be a pro, besides if you want to donate to St. Jude, you dont have to do it at a betting site.

Again it's not about me donating. I know I could go and donate to St Judes on their site but that's not the point

The point is that donation to St Judes and helping children in need should not be limited to Pro's.

    1) Incessantly tout capping abilities and dubious record -

    2) Unnecessarily make a thread, in the NBA forum, revealing your proposed donation (with exact dollar amount) to everyone, while you stomp your feet at how unfair it is you can't be a saint and donate, yet can't deposit $200 for PRO -

Are churches in the USA considered poor? Because here in Europe, the Roman Catholic Church is probably the richest and wealthiest institution there is... I don't think you can find a company, or even a country richer than them

Well I bet with a local and would also like to donate my points to charity. Because both SJ and I are US citizens, we would both be risking any funds we try to transfer to an offshore sight because such transactions are illegal. Therefore, it doesn't make sense for me to go through the hassle or taking the risk of opening an offshore account.

I would be happy to give my points to charity...they are useless to me anyway. So, why can't I?

Frizelli - you mention your record. Can you please point me to your thread where you document all your plays? I don't tail anyone and cap games myself. However, I am always looking for different views. Therefore, I would like to review your season long thread. Or, do you not really have a documented record? In which case, touting your own record is just unsubstantiated allegations. If you have such a great record, that's awesome. However, without documenting your plays, coupled with the way you tout that record, it just sounds like you are full of it. Moreover, you also mention SJ is scamming points. Can you please explain yourself on that one too? Sounds like you just don't like SJ and are throwing around baseless allegations.

They probably just don't want unverified members donating THEIR (SBR's) money without getting something in return. And keep in mind that they are running a business, not a charity, so calling them out because they allow you to use points to buy freeplays but not to donate to your favorite church is, well... unreasonable. You can always donate with your own money though and for that you don't have to become a SBR PRO. Not hating, just stating

Non pros don't get my picks pal, So I don't really have to justify anything to non pros.
