With the poker sites getting hammered today and degens everywhere freaking out and trying to withdraw their "disposable income" ()............are the "books" next?
Glad I've got two great locals..........one with a kickass website that requires zero financial deposits (full line of credit).

I also use a local for small stuff under 500 a game and anything over that must be phoned in to him.

Most books you have to send the cash, so you obviously have it.
Most locals I know go on credit, allowing people the chance to STIFF them. Meaning they don't have any disposable income.
I'll sleep just fine tonight. Not concerned since I keep my balance under 1500 as much as possible.
I have $1k off-shore. If that gets taken, oh well, can't do anything about it. I'l just use a VPN and use my BetFair account.
Luckily for me, I've lost everything I had off-shore. No worries here.

locals who extend credit would do nothing but get most this forum in trouble..Give 100 guys credit and by next Tuesday night 75% of them will have their phone #'s changed
Explain why you think offshore books are about to get hit? I am not a PRO because it is kinda silly to me, but I am definitely interested in your knowledge if you think online gambling is about to take an unexpected fall all of a sudden
Exactly...This guy is obviously just trying to justify his reasoning in not becoming a SBR PRO. Now that this has happened he has a great excuse of why it's worthless to become a pro.

I never said it was "worthless to become a pro". Points are cool......but, now that the poker sites have been slammed today I wouldn't be very comfortable with a wad of cash sitting offshore in a book.

Seen some thing like this already 5 years earlier where the Feds took down Paradise Poker, a site sponsored by Sportsbook.com. Even though they shut down the poker site to US customers, Sportsbook.com is still running stronger than ever, although payout is much slower than it was 5 years earlier. The sportsbook are fine.
